Bubbakoo's Burritos — Restaurant in Maryland

So I’m leaving a review as someone who was picking up an order with DoorDash as I have not tasted the food, yet.

So I’m not sure if this restaurant has other locations, but it seems that maybe they just opened in Laurel. Anyway, I will firstly say, I am quite understanding that when a restaurant first opens it may take time for things to reach maximum efficiency, so I’m truly just giving some words of advice, not trying to bash the restaurant.

I had to pick up two orders and the amount of time I had to wait for them was unacceptable. While I was waiting there are several things that I saw that I would like to mention as I hope this can actually be helpful to the store owner.

I’m thinking this is a family business maybe? Anyway, there were too many workers moving like they were helping dad cook at home for a family dinner. Efficiency has to be a priority when you’re serving people on food apps and in person. I understand why people make business and want to keep it in the family, but if family/friends can’t pick up the pace and do what needs to be done so it’s not taking 30 mins to make some tacos, with all due respect, there are individuals who know a thing or two about tacos and they tend to keep restaurants thriving and efficient in the kitchen…

The food honestly looks amazing and truly I can tell that you all make it with love and with the customer in mind, but I hope you all find a middle ground in serving great food,...

I’ve driven by this place many times saying to myself you need to try this place. My wife and decided tonight is the night. We both ordered bowls. The bowls had chicken…rice..black beans…guacamole..onions…pico..sour cream..shredded cheese. It looked amazing. Also ordered chips with the three dips…salsa…guacamole…queso. Unfortunately the flavors were just not there. The guacamole had a bit of a sour taste….most likely a processed elsewhere vibe. Did not taste fresh. The salsa had a strange off putting taste as well. Like a strange spice. I will tell you the place reminds you of a Chipotle or Qdoba…but an absolute disappointment. We trashed the food. So sad. If you are looking for fresh taste and flavors this will disappoint. I don’t believe this chain will survive. Stick with Chipotle…Qdoba…Baja Fresh if you want fast food ish...

Very slow, there were only 3 people ahead of me when I came in and it took 20 minutes to get my food. I had originally planned on eating there but 7/9 tables in the location were dirty. The others were occupied. When I was checking out, I had said that they were no clean tables and that I originally had planned on eating there and the employee didn’t hear me the first time and said oh thank you then after I repeated myself, she just said oh and sat there looking at me until I walked away. I then sat and ate my food in my car and waited to see if any of the any employees sitting around behind the counter, doing nothing would get up to clean the tables. I ate 2/3 of the burrito before throwing it away and in that time, not one person got up to clean any of the tables. This is one Gross establishment I will not be coming back to and could not...
