Cameron's Seafood — Restaurant in Maryland

3rd time and never again. 1st time they were bomb. 2nd time they weren't done, returned them and they still didn't taste well. Ordered 1 1/2 dozen females. Ordered at 11:30 for 2pm pick up. Got there at 2:06pm. Paid for my order. I should have known when the guy bagging threw a bunch of legs in my bag. Received the bag, not hot, not even warmth was felt. I proceeded home. To eat my crabs solo. Planned on going back if they were decent for the rest of my family. Out of 18 crabs, 5 were edible, and the rest stunk like really fishy or a chemical smell. They were extremely small and light. It's sad that I have to travel 45 mins plus for decent crabs, and they'll still be hot once I get them home. They're only open Thursday thru Sunday. It's no reason they should be reheating crabs over and over. It's really no good selection of food overall in there area. You'd think just bc we're in MD you could get a decent crab anywhere. Thanks for the half bag of crab legs though. If I had Ordered for my family I'd definitely be going back for a refund. Just praying I don't get sick bc one had a bunch of slimy dark goo in it and I had ate the meat from the leg before cracking it. And that is included in the 5 crabs that were edible. Customer service...

I don't normally provide feedback one way or another, but the way Cameron's in Hagerstown treated us today, warrants it.

If I could give negative stars, I would. We called to order crabs well in advance of our family get together (wife's 50th birthday) and obtained preferred pricing because of our preorder. We confirmed this, arrived at the time they specified only to find them closed. After calling them we were told that they were closed today and that someone should have notified us. Needless to say, they didn't. So I had a house full of people waiting on crabs that wouldn't come.

The good news was, that we quickly called around and Chicks Seafood (300 Summit Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21740) had them and as a matter of fact threw in free butcher paper because Cameron's was so unreliable.

For those that expect their order to be fulfilled, I recommend you choose a more reliable business.

I AM DONE...

We just got takeout this Sunday evening for the first time. 4 large crabcakes for 22 on special(will have two for sandwhiches left)... and half pound fried scallops(10) for 13 and single order of fries. Popped a baked potato in for myself,ready when order arrived and had coleslaw here at home. Crabcakes were Very dark but good,recently had awesome broiled crabcakes from Family Diner on Duel. Will request broiled next time.... Scallops were Excellent but will request all fried foods not be put in plastic next time. I'd rather newspaper if they have, to retain the crispness. Asked for extra lemon which Really enhanced the fresh shore like seafood dinner on a summer night....Will definately buy again if they have those prices soon....Out of tarter sauce so picked up Lousiama brand tarter sauce from Martin's which is...
