BE CAREFUL! Had a special cake made for our senior’s graduation party that called for an edible photo. My first similar cake a few years earlier was great. However, this time the Clerk at the front spoke no English so I made my initial order in broken Spanish but then brought my fluent daughter to repeat the order and confirm details a couple days later. Two hours before my party began I got my cake wrapped in regular paper rather than edible paper and not even an apology! The clerk was unfamiliar with the baker’s services and no one had sense enough to recognize what a waist and how strange a cake wrapped in regular paper was and ask questions. They offered no fix so on demand and after much yelling I got my money back but we ended up with Safeway cake which was actually pretty good and cheaper too. The special fruit in the middle is not worth it. I’ll never shop at this...

This place is a favorite in our family. Breakfast egg & frijoles sandwiches are delicious and the pan dulce options are the best compared to other panaderías in the area. Empanadas are also pretty good.

We only do takeout, is a little cramped and chaotic in there. Which is fine, it's a bakery, not a restaurant.

Parking is tricky but parking anywhere in Wheaton is tricky. If you come here in the early morning during the weekend you'll find parking and the bread will be freshly baked.

Another plus of coming early is that you'll have all the options of pan dulce. They run out of options as the day goes by.

This place used to be good back in the day but ever since 2020 has been going downhill. If you like soup you should order their tamales! They come with so much extra juice it's bound to make anything messy. Sometimes the chicken comes out red and under cooked but you cannot tell because you don't eat it there.I got six and it's mostly corn. I used to go here for saltenas before I discovered Kantuta's.
