I went here to grab some lunch, my first time at this location. I go through the drive thru and get my food home. Once home, I decided to take a sip of the sweet tea I purchased with the combo meal. I inserted the straw and sipped, something came in my mouth! I immediately thought, “what the HELL was that”! Spitting it in my hand to see what it was, assuming it may be the pulp from a lemon, although I didn’t ask for lemon. What I spit out was a black tar-like substance. I immediately felt sick but trying to examine what it was! I then poured the remaining liquid into another cup and there was MORE of the black substance in the bottom of the cup! I poured it into a napkin to further investigate what it could possibly be, meanwhile calling the store. I called the store 6x’s and NO ANSWER!! I then had to drive way back up to the store and stood at the counter for 5mins before asking, “Is anyone working the front counter”? The young lady at the drive thru window said, “gimme one minute”! Once she finally came over to me I asked was there a manager available and she said, “no one will be in at 1pm”! I proceeded to show her what was in the cup and she looked confused initially and said, “I don’t know what that is”! I said well I need you to help me determine what this is before I head to the hospital because I’m freaking out! She then says, “it looks like dirt or something”! I reply, “dirt and not a bug of some sort”? She says, “oh no, it’s not a bug”! I then gave her the bag of food back and asked for a refund as I was worried about eating the food. She gave me a refund and said I could keep the food, which I tossed in the trash as I was leaving out of the store. I’m contacting corporate and see how they handle...
Read moreWhen we got there, at least 3 people were standing at the register, I guess they were training new people. What I assumed was the manager looked right in our faces and then walked away to go give the rest of the tour to the new people even though that could have been a good opportunity to demonstrate how to take an order. With a kitchen full of like 10 people, we waited 5 minutes for someone to actually acknowledge us... Then the cashier that did acknowledge us had an attitude and was fussing with the manager while he was taking our order. When I ordered my sub, he only asked me if I wanted a regular or large size and never asked me if I wanted the small. We were the only ones standing inside the place but there were a few cars in the drive thru and the kitchen looked like complete chaos. The manager was running around trying to help cook the food basically pulling his hair out because no one in the kitchen seemed to know where they were or what they were doing. And after all this, it took too long to get our food and my lemonade was too tart (they never put enough fruit syrup in the lemonades) and my Chicken California sub was extremely bland. Two stars and two thumbs down. Just do yourself a favor and go to...
Read moreThis was the double meat “old school cheesesteak” picture below, WOW how disappointed I am. The bones less wings I asked for sauce on side NOPE! Then asked for bleu cheese & celery, NOPE! I felt bad even asking as it seemed, was a huge deal, because must have been the 2 employees were not quite, hearing “Yo this guy wants everything” Tough when I only want the two condiments which was the only thing besides placing order. Customer service I have realized not to expect much with what we have as employees to pick from, shame the work ethic doesn’t exist any longer (general statement for the majority). Things are tight and prices are high, $10.29 for a “where’s the beef”” cheesesteak . I always try to give places a second try, everyone has a bad day, this time I will not. Moving forward maybe take down the pictures also, as HOLY MOLEY not even close, I don’t expect pictures, knowing they never do, but yours not even close. Hopefully the store off Joppa rd, will get a little more training (service)and put meat on subs and work...
