Seasons Pizza — Restaurant in Maryland

My husband and I usually love Seasons but we had the worst experience tonight. We were tracking the pizza online and the website said that our order was delivered around 7:25. We looked outside several times and didn’t see pizza on our front step (we had just to knock on our profile). Our delivery window was 7:25-7:45 so after waiting until 7:45, thinking that there could have been a system error, I called the restaurant. They told me the delivery driver would be there shortly. I waited an additional 15 minutes and called again. I then spoke with the delivery driver who insisted that he had delivered the food to our house around 7:25.

He initially said the wrong address (my neighbor’s address) then corrected and said my address. He told me he called (I didn’t receive a call) and knocked (no one knocked on our door). He then started describing a street that did not sound like the street I live on and said he double checked the number. I suggested several times that he delivered to the wrong address (he mentioned a street that was nowhere near my house) but he denied doing so. I wound up requesting a refund because they would not be able to deliver a new order for another 25 minutes to an hour. I’m so disappointed in the customer service I received. This place has really gone downhill. I’ve been ordering from this Seasons for around 8 years now and it used to be great. A few years ago the food seemed like less effort was put into it, the staff got worse (when orders are messed up the kids working there give you dirty looks for complaining and act as if they could care less, even refusing refunds for untouched food), and any directions when ordering food couldn’t be followed. Just a few things they have messed up after requesting something are as follows- Putting ingredients on sandwiches and pizzas that were either never asked for or specifically asked to remove, everytime I have asked for a well done pizza it seems even less cooked than usual, and anytime you ask for extra sauce on wings they cannot accommodate, one time even receiving wings with not one drop of sauce on them after specially ordering them with extra sauce online. It’s almost as if they do the opposite of what you ask sometimes just out of spite. Things are always missing from orders, most of the staff can be extremely rude and the food just doesn’t taste good anymore. This was one of the few places I thought was worth the price up until a few years ago and I’m really disappointed. This is the 1st BAD review that I HAD to write about this location.

On 11/29/22 I ordered 2 salads. 1 was a spinach & Grilled Chicken which was fine; BUT my Chef Salad was sewer worthy. Upon opening it I smelled a "musty" odor which I put off to a stored container, BUT when I tasted the lettuce and tomato, my mouth said "old, musty and foul". I asked my wife to sample it and she spit it out. My stomach agreed with me because I started salivating and contemplated barfing which didn't happen.

I called the store and spoke with the manager who was more inclined to believe that I was sick instead of his food being bad which I wasn't. He was willing to send me another salad but I requested a refund instead (my stomach wasn't into eating yet). He agreed to the refund and after 3 days, I still haven't received it yet (notice from my credit card company).

Thank goodness there are other take out places near me because this restaurant just lost my business as well as...
