Charter Deli — Restaurant in Maryland

I've known Tom, the owner, since I first moved around here about 10 or 15 years ago. The deli has never once changed for the worse. The food is always amazing, everyone behind the counter always seems to love their job and are having fun. The environment is cozy but not too-close-for-comfort cozy, it's just right. Tom is a great guy, and he runs his business well. Every single new person I bring to The Charter Deli thanks me afterward for showing them the "hidden gem" to anyone not from around here. Went to this place and it was amazing. I ordered salami on a sub roll with lettuce and mustard and it was phenomenal. The guy that was serving us got everything right and even when we thought he did something wrong he did it right. Also this place sets a good mood to eat in. Even though my order was for carry out when they wrapped my sandwich and I got in the car it was like I was unwrapping a gift. I would give this more stars if I could. Keep up with the great work charter deli.

This used to be one of my favorite places to go to when I went to HCC, but hadn't been for a few years. I went back a few days ago, and it was as delicious as it ever was. Sandwiches are always generously loaded with awesome ingredients and employees are always friendly. I did see that they also have gluten free bread as an option, but didn't try this time.
