To Management: I had to use my wic and i always have a problem picking the right approved items and it causes confusion at the register, so I prepaired myself for this time being no different. However, my cashier who was a young lady and her coworker that was working beside her was having a casual conversation with each other waiting for customers (that in todays self checkout world are near to none). When i came they instantly went into work mode (appreciated), her co worker jumped over and offered to help her and bag my things and that was good until my wic fears arrived and now here we are trying to figure out why i have a balance when i thought i followed wic guidelines to a tee. Now, eveybody and there mother wants to be rung up and not do self check out, the co-worker then jumps into action again starts pulling people from her line over to his and getting them out while my cashier takes the time to help me figure this out to the best of her ability. Now she has voided to many times and has to get a managers assistance, the manager comes over and brings the most pleasant energy (not that the energy was negative on the stores behalf, i was the negative but there was so much positive my negative was defeated). She greats everyone as she approaches with a soft, warm, calming good morning and proceeds to use her key to fix the void and as she does that my cashier then begins to explain to her what the issues are. She then kindly explains to me the process as to how we will figure out wich items are not being excepted and begins this process, it took some time and patience but everyone really showed up for the occasion. We got to the bottom of it in a few minutes, i thanked the manager and she went on with her day. My cashier used a since of urgency rang the rest of my things and i left. I want to let those 3 employees know that they turned a horrifiying experience for me into a positive day, i offten get a simple i dont know why wic not taking these items and we dont know what items they not taking. I offten dont get most items on my wic outside of fruits and veggies because its just to confusing, not only did they take the confusion away they allowed me to get over the fear of using my wic, they did an OUTSTANDING job handeling my situation and the keeping things...

As you come in the produce, bakery and Starbucks all greet you with a warm welcome hello. The sushi, deli and meat departments are your next stops. I like that the back of the store is the package meat and dairy. The isles are marked as to content and easily visible. The far side is frozen and Pharmacy. The times we have been there on Saturday seems to not have enough checkers working registers. This I believe is a managment oversight. But the wait is longer than I would like but not as long as the evil empire (Walmart). The store has always been clean, presentable and stocked. We enrolled in there shopping card and saved 17dollars on our first visit. The person who enrolled us even came and found my wife while we were shopping to give her the cards. We just came up from Pensacola Florida and have been shopping Publix and I'm happy to find a store that compares...

Arundel plaza is now essentially new: between the Giant store that has totally been rebuilt to the shell gas station and the chicken store. I must admit, it looks very modern and is much easier to negotiate because of the many driveways and ample parking. Gone is the bed store and old face of shell and giant. In is a full stocked, Giant store, shell Dash in convenience plus car wash. Remnants of the old plaza are carried over by The chicken restaurant and the fedex store. Both also are surrounded with ample parking and supported by the new traffic light. The fedex store, as always, is helpful for packages and copies, and one more store is under construction.
