THIS INDIAN RESTAURANT IS AMAZING!!! MUST TRY!!! I came here for the first time because the owner of Delhi Spice is a customer of my grandpa’s barbershop, and the food and drinks were really good!!! My family and I ordered the Vegetable Samosa Chat and Chicken Seekh Kabab as appetizers, and the owner was so kind enough to order us Lasooni Gobi for us to try without even asking!!! All of these appetizers were good, and all of them have kind of a “kick” to it with the hint of spice in each appetizer. Then, I ordered the Butter Chicken with Paratha, my mom ordered the Chole Bhature, and my grandpa ordered the Lamb Vindaloo with a moderate spice level along with Garlic Naan, and each of these entrées and side dishes were bomb, according to me and my family (I had some of my grandpa’s Garlic Naan and Lamb Vindaloo, which are both pretty good!!!). We also ordered rice as a side dish for everyone(my family and I) to share. Be careful of the Lamb Vindaloo though, the spice kicks in as soon as you put it in your mouth, and it’s pretty spicy!!! It’s not like the appetizers where there is a subtle hint of spice and where it only comes after you swallow it!!! I had to gulp down 2 glasses of water to save my tongue kind of being on fire!!! Lastly, I had a Mango Lassi to drink, my mom had a lemonade, and my grandpa had a Kingfisher beer. The Mango Lassi is pretty sweet and not too runny, not too thick!!! Overall, this place is great if you want to go out/order and eat Indian food!!! The owner is super nice and also guides you on what the food is and how it tastes!!! The food is a bit pricey, but the taste makes up for it!!! 10/10 must try again!!! 5 stars!!! Don’t let the size of the place and area it’s...

My wife, me and few Indian friends were on a sight-seeing spree in Washington DC & and had to visit a friend in the adjoining Bethesda Avenue in Maryland MD recently (in the mid of Aug 2025). While crossing the Bethesda Avenue we spotted this board "Delhi Spice" and immediately it kindled/aroused our appetite. We decided to have our lunch at this place.

We had an amazing dining experience at this Delhi Spice restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the warm aroma of spices set the tone for a flavorful meal. The menu has a wonderful balance of classic favorites and unique regional dishes, all prepared with authentic spices that bring out rich, bold flavors.

The staff (especially Sister Olga) was friendly, attentive, and happy to explain the dishes, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We particularly loved the Chicken Kabab, Butter chicken / biryani / White Rice and chicken gravy which was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spice. The naan was soft, fresh, and perfect for soaking up the delicious curries.

The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant, making it a great place for both casual meals and special occasions. It’s clear that the chefs put genuine care into every dish, and it truly feels like a taste of India brought to the U.S.

We Highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves flavorful, authentic Indian cuisine—you won’t be disappointed!

Kudos to the excellent setup and service provided...

I have been here a few times, each time the food and service has been great!

My kid's favorite dish is the Butter chicken.. after eating it here, they refuse to go anywhere else for butter chicken.

The chicken momos are delicious, the sesame chutney served with it is a lovely pairing. We usually order this with the fried Gobi appetizer dish which I forgot the name of.

A few dishes we've come to love each time we come are: -Bhuna Goat, it is perfect with the Garlic Naan. We usually end up getting a to-go order at the end of our dinner. It tastes more amazing the next day.

-Lamb Vindaloo- being Indian, I never order this dish because I never thought it was tasty. The owner Kumar recommended we give it a try...it is easily on my must-haves now.

-The Fig Kofta is a pleasant surprise with its savory and creamy curry. A great choice for vegetarians.

-The fish curry is nice. The fish is Cod. I have to make sure not to order this the same time as the Bhuna Goat to give it a true taste test.

The owners, chef and staff are very friendly and helpful with suggestions. It's a great place for a family meal or a nice date night. We will keep...

OMG! I totally recommend Delhi Spice, the array of food options is amazing. Real Indian cuisine with Spices. Makes me feel like I've been to India now, even though I haven't lol. Yesterday, we had the Chicken Seekh Kebab, Garlic chicken wings and garlic naan (because I love garlic, lol) for starters and Tandoori Chicken with spinach and rice, chicken curry and chickpeas. My toddler is very picky, but he totally cleared his plate to my amazement and had all his Mango Lassi (that's another drink you have to try no matter what you do lol! and you can thank me later). My friend also informed me that they had catered to his Kid's birthday party and it was also amazing. I am honestly not surprised cuz you can tell the owners/ managers have their hearts into it. These meals were clearly made with love. We even met the Chef guys! He literally came out to talk to my friend who needed some extra perks. lol Thanks for giving us a taste of India.

Superb food with superb, friendly service! If you're in the mood for curry served with a smile, Delhi Spice is the place for you! We started out with the delicious Aloo Tikki Chaat and Papri Chaat both of which transported us back to the streets of Delhi. If you like Indo-Chinese, then you must try the Gobi Lasooni which packs plenty of delectable flavors. For our main course, we had the Bhindi, the Baigan Bhartha and a wonderful Paneer Makhani, all of which went down smoothly with some very tasty Garlic Naan and Onion Kulcha. Even the side Onion Lacha salad was flavorfully dusted with spices! And the best part of the whole evening was the classic Indian hospitality. The staff are all super-friendly, and both the chefs came out and chatted with us. It truly felt like a place where "everybody knows your name!"
