Where do I start...
Placed an order through the mobile app. When we opened it and started to eat, we noticed both pizzas were under cooked. When I called the store, I was immediately put on hold. After being on hold for 5 minutes, I hung up and called back. I told the person that she left me on hold for 5 minutes, to which she responded that they were busy. I then told her that I needed to speak to the manager. When she asked her manager to come to the phone, he told her that he was busy and couldnât talk to me. When I told her the issue and that I needed to speak with her manager, she stated that he told her that he was busy and needed to make the pizzas. I then told her that at this point, I needed a refund and replacement pizzas, to which she stated that her manager said it would be 2 hours. I asked for her managers name and she said, âhuh?â I asked again and she said âJustin.â I asked for her managers last name and she stated that she did not know as she just started working there.
After filing a complaint with Dominos Corporate, who said they could not do anything at the time, but would have someone call me back, I drove (in the pouring rain) to the Dominos location to attempt to get a refund. Upon arrival, I was not greeted for more than 7 minutes (even though I was the only one waiting to be helped). The same girl that answered the phone was on the phone, and then got off and started putting stickers on boxes. It wasnât until I asked if she was going to help me that she actually did so. I told her that I was the one who spoke with her 40 minutes before and that I needed to speak with her manager (who was within sight and earshot of me). She walked over and said something to him, but he looked at me and then went back to making the pizzas. At no point did he come help me. I told the girl I needed a refund and he told her how to do it. When she wasnât able to figure out how to refund my order, Justin walked over and did it. He did not acknowledge me until I asked for a district managers number. All he said was that it was 1-800-Dominos and that he didnât care if I called because he was about to quit anyways.
Further, when I arrived at the location, I noticed the poor state/cleanliness of the kitchen (pictures attached to this review). The girl had asked if I wanted them to remake the order, to which I said no because of how dirty the kitchen was. The pans were next to the trash can, the manager was making pizzas on a prep counter that had trash on it, the manager was kicking trash across the floor, and there were food scraps all over the prep counter that were touching every pizza he made.
Based on both customer service and the cleanliness of the kitchen, I will never order from this...
Read moreI ordered on-line last week for large extravaganza pizza and got a coupon, pizza was delivered after over an hour. When I opened the box the pizza only has 3 toppings, green pepper, mushroom and Italian sausage instead of about 6 toppings for the extravaganza pizza. People make mistake so I let it slide. Today, I placed my order at 1:25pm, used my coupon for medium size 2 toppings pizza and added boneless chicken, the bill including the donation to St. Jude totaled $12, I round it up to $15 for the tip. At 2:40pm, I called to follow up my order, Jovan told me my order is on its way, in an irritated voice. At 3:30pm I called again to follow up, he said my order was delivered but I never heard a knock on my door nor anyone saying Domino. He said that the Driver left the pizza in front of a door but didn't knock or say Domino. I told him I opened my door & there is nothing. He arrogantly say he would just refund me as they are having a gas leak and can not help me. It is not about money but it was my lunch that I ordered long before the gas leak. The special instructions are there for a reason. I don't want to simply open my door to anyone who would knock for safety reasons. The driver ignored my special instructions and obviously he placed my order in someone else door. There are several apartment buildings in our location. The manager made the situation even worse by not apologizing and for equating the error with just money. VERY POOR...
Read morePlaced my order online and asked for the text message updates. At 2:47 this afternoon I received a text that Austin was on his way. An hour later I still didn't have my pizza. I called the number on the website and was stuck listening to recordings for 10 minutes, no option to get a human being and no human ever picked up. I hung up and called back. This time somebody answered. I told them I was concerned that Austin was lost (by this time it was almost an hour and a half since he supposedly was on his way. The person that answered the phone responded "he's not lost". My response was "then where's my pizza?" He said "It's still sitting here, Austin got off work and we don't have a delivery driver, we are waiting for one to come in." So my pizza was sitting there for over an hour and a half and nobody called to let me know. Who knows how much longer they were going to wait for a driver to show up to deliver my cold pizza. When I pointed out that I got a text message that my pizza was on its way, I was told that they have no control over the tracker. This is not the first bad experience I have had with the store, but it is definitely the last. I totally understand that they are busy with everybody staying home, but it's been six months since Maryland shut down. Dominos should have figured out how to manage by now. Papa Johns definitely figured it out because they're driver is knocking at my...
