I'm new to the area, and am most interested in finding locally owned restaurants. I was told to check this place out. I called to see if they did call ahead seating or take reservations. The lady who I spoke to was short, and hung up while I was still talking. We still went to the restaurant. We walked up, assuming it was like any other full service restaurant. Quickly, I was able to pinpoint who answered the phone, and hung up on me. She was pretty harsh about telling us, "the menus are on the table. Order, then we bring you the food". We had already waited in line(with an impatient toddler) thinking we would just be seated, and give a server our order. I would have really appreciated some sort of direction as to what to do when arriving at the restaurant. We weren't the only people confused with what to do. We gave our order and just stood there Not realizing it was a seat yourself type of situation. I asked one of the ladies who worked there who was walking by what we were supposed to do. She was helpful. The food took a long time to come out. Nothing was hot. Even though the food wasn't hot, I did like the taste. I did not care for the coffee. I actually loved the decor. Which was confusing to me. The vibe I got is that its supposed to be inviting, a place of comfort. I did not feel that from the majority of the employees there. Which was disappointing. Unsure if I'll give this place another shot. I really wanted to love this place, simply for my perception of the...
Read moreMy husband and I booked Dreamweaver Cafe for our September wedding reception. Let me tell you, this little gem absolutely lives up to its name- my husband and I truly had the wedding day of our dreams!! :-)
We owe a huge ‘thank you’ to Tracey for the incredible day we had- we couldn’t have done this without her! :-) She was absolutely such a pleasure to work with, going above and beyond for us to ensure that our wedding day was magical (she became a dear friend by the time the wedding day rolled around)! :-) Tracey was so incredibly kind and helpful throughout the process of planning our reception, and was such a tremendous help with planning out the menu as well as our timeline, our decorations/decoration ideas and answering any other questions we had. Everyone was blown away by the delicious meal, as well as the unbelievably gorgeous setup of our reception space. We felt completely at ease and taken care of. My husband and I truly cannot thank Tracey and all the folks at Dreamweaver enough!!!
We’re already looking forward to stopping in for brunch at Dreamweaver’s, once things slow down post-wedding!!! :-) We would 100% recommend Dreamweaver to anyone planning a wedding or any...
Read moreI really enjoyed the specials this week. I had a gorgeous and delicious caprice salad two days in a row. To finish off my lunches, I enjoyed a baked treat that I chose out of the display at the front counter. One day, I chose a slice of home made peanut butter pie that I shared with a friend. My only regret is that I shared! Lol the second afternoon, I picked a German chocolate cupcake. Yummy! It was not big but, just the right size for a dessert treat. Although I have never had a "bad" experience at the cafe, I am confident if kindly brought to the attention of management, any issue would be quickly be resolved to my satisfaction. It's just one of the many percs of doing business local. I am a bit partial because I have friends and even family that work for or have worked at the cafe. Thank you DreamWeaver for providing fresh and local eats seven days a week. It's always fun to stop in to enjoy a lunch special and check out the variety of freshly prepared sweet treats to...
