The food here is good. Usually the service is good enough. I went to pick up take-out recently. I called the restaurant back when I opened my food at home and saw that one of the dishes was wrong. I started off really nicely because I know that everyone makes mistakes. All I wanted was for them to note it down so I could get the correct order later because I didn't have the time to go back that evening. I even sent pictures to them to show screenshots of what I ordered, what the online ordering system described, and what I got. The girl on the phone was so INCREDIBLY rude. I ended up contacting their Facebook page and getting the owner who said that she would send me a gift card or something to cover the cost of that portion of the order. I didn't ask for anything other than what I ordered being covered. She did see that there is an error on the online ordering system in the description for what I ordered. I never got anything to replace this incorrect order. I did however get yelled at by the girl who answered the phone, she wouldn't look at the online ordering system so I could show her that the description for the dish I ordered was obviously wrong based on what I got, she just kept YELLING that she "didn't have time to argue with me" because it was busy. I informed her that we didn't have to argue that she just needed to check and see that what I ordered and what I got were different based on the description. She told me to bring the damn food back and she would make sure the right one was made. I didn't have the time to go back that night so I couldn't. I just asked her to take my name down so that I could get the correct food next time I came in. I am still waiting for my gift certificate. I do like their food. It is the only place in the county to get Thai so I don't want to have to stop going there but until this is fixed I wont. I can't believe that the owner would be ok with an employee being this rude. This whole county is basically just a small town and everyone talks. I will be sure to make sure that I tell everyone how rude the employee was and that they wouldn't just take my name down so that I could get the correct food another time. Really unreasonable response to a mistake...
Read moreThree strikes and you are out.--We started going to Ez-Thai over seven years ago. It was the best Thai food around. We would drive from Annapolis for their pricey, but good food. Then a couple of years ago things started changing, but we decided to try and give them the benefit of the doubt. First attempt our order was all messed up. I suggested that the wait staff might use an order pad instead of memory. Second time a memory order again. Order was not correct when brought to our table and my pad see eew had broken egg shells in it, we asked for no carrots and it was ignored. Restaurants interested in maintaining customer relations usually offer something to appease their mistakes, at EZ Thai it is a weak apology. Third attempt, again the waitress took a memory order. I asked if she was certain they had it all and I was assured they did. They didn't and the order was incomplete. The response was they would bring the appetizer after I was nearly finished with the entre. My broccoli was tough again, a lady at another table complained she couldn't even cut her broccoli with a knife. Maybe there is a reason their Solomon's location closed? We also noticed that when the place was running well the owner was there most of the time. Apparently this is no longer the case. We are sad to lose the EZ Thai experience, but...
Read moreUpdated Review: I've been lucky enough to order food from this place since they first opened, and I have never, ever gone wrong with a dish or experienced anything but great service. The food is top notch, fresh, delicious, bright in color and flavor, and some dishes are creative. Their curries are excellent, especially the green curry is always on point and properly spiced high. The pad ga prao is also amazing...if you like the unique hint of thai basic then any of their dishes with that are worth trying, especially the crispy salmon with the basil sauce. Larb gai is a favorite appetize too. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and always up for making sure that extra item you need it covered...for example, if doing takeout and you want some of the peppers from the pepper-tray, just ask. I've gotten the chopped that chilis in fish sauce in a little to-go container and it perfectly tops off a dish if you like it thai-spicy! and pad ga prao are so good. The only caution is that it is important to know how small the restaurant is, which seems to matter when they are very busy and full of dine-in customers (i.e. not during covid)...sometimes the service is a little slower than you may expect but still within bounds for a small place with absolutely exceptional food. No hesitation in...
