Five Guys — Restaurant in Maryland

Workers there are 100% the rudest I’ve ever encountered at a five guys. You talk directly to them and they ignore you 100%. They will even look right up at you and then hear you and look back away as if you don’t exist standing there. They will do it over and over again before they finally acknowledge you then when they do they play dumb as if they have no idea what’s going on. On top of that they are sarcastic and treat you like a jerk. I simply asked after the guy called the order to confirm because he literally just yelled out a bunch of mumble not being able to be understood. After I asked for confirmation he looked and looked away ignored me and then said you can’t read when I was still approaching the counter and hadn’t got there yet. With a bunch of other people waiting for the order standing around it was a reasonable response to confirm if the order happened to be me he called but instead of just saying yes or asking me who I was he instead said you can’t read(in question form)? I even said why you have to respond that way I was just checking. He then implied I’m dumb and couldn’t read again. Terrible service and workers which made the atmosphere completely unpleasant to say the least. If you’re picking up or getting to go I’m sure you’d be ok with the food but I would avoid going to this 5 guys at all costs if possible. Hope...

$5.50 naked burger and $7.50 get you a burger with lettuce and tomato everything else cost extra a lot extra. the burger is really good. Not as good as Red Robin for Fuddruckers. And Red Robin comes with Unlimited better fries. I mean really good steak fries and you can tell them how you like them cooked crispier unsalted whatever you like. Even Burger King is competitive with a Whopper that's two for $6. It's kind of like only advertising Coronas with a lime in them. If you don't like Coronas add a lime. We don't like really good Chardonnay Okie nutty delicious then why don't you just add flavoring to make it tastes lemony like they do at most of the wineries in Northern Virginia. Like really good steak and then needing ketchup and salt and cook it till it's gray. Thank God my mother was a great cook unlike my father's mother who cooked all the meals on Sunday and then just served out during the week. On the plus side, the food actually tasted quite good and it was prepared pretty quickly. The restaurant had lots of space for seating and that's always a good thing on the not quite as plus side - I think 10 bucks for a double hamburger is a bit pricey, and the meat will tend to make the bun soggy after 3 or 4 minutes. That's not something that I prefer. The fries, are very good however - only order a small fry. Why is this? Because whatever fry you order they almost double the order so you get way more french fries than you ever expected. Anybody that buys a large french fry can have an entire meal on the order. And that $5 and something for fries, it's expensive. But I can at least you get a whole lot of them.
