Gus's Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Maryland

My wife and I both ordered Cheesesteaks and my Son ordered Cheese Pizza. Also got some jalapeno poppers and fried mushrooms. Again, Gus's did not disappoint. My family and I agree, absolutely the best in Harford County. Food was fresh, warm, and delicious. Love the subroll bread they use. Not overly greasy, which keeps it from getting soggy; but just enough to still give it that great flavor a cheesesteak should have. The poppers and mushrooms were crispy and also amazing. The mushrooms were large and good quantity. Had to trade my wife a popper for 3 mushrooms like a 7 year old in the school cafeteria, Lol. Also love the presentation and the fact that they use decent paper platter trays rather than paper wraps and pouches for subs and side orders. It shows us they take a bit of pride in their art. As an update, We decided to try their wings last night also. They have a wonderful variety of flavors to choose from. We went with the Caribbean Jerk Wings. They were nice-sized wings, delicious and flavorful. They were packaged nicely in a thick paper to-go tray and inside the tray they were wrapped tightly in aluminum foil to keep them hot and fresh. I'm a pizza lover working in Edgewood so I've eaten @ Gus's quite a few times. I really like the pizza here. I usually get the lunch special - a small pizza and can soda for like $10 (toppings more of course). I get either a pepperoni, pepp & sausage, or pepp+sausg+mushroom. First off, I would give the crust an "A", its crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. The cook on the pizza itself I would give an "A", the cheese is just lightly browned to perfection and the toppings as well. (I like a slight crisp on my pepperoni.) There's ample cheese AND equally important, ample sauce. Pizza without enuff sauce annoys me cause it feels like I might as well be eating cheesey bread. The flavor of the sauce is unique imo. Initially it threw me off a bit. Not enuff to stop me from coming back however, even with other options in the area. Eventually it became an acquired taste. Its different, imo, others might not give it a second thought.

Besides the pizza I like the dining area setup, for times when i want to sit down. Friendly service, nice tvs and the staff has no problem tuning the channel to whatever u want. I live in Baltimore City, and I have brought my family...

I haven't ate here since it was down in the shopping center next to the grocery store .. if that don't age me I don't know what would lol. I was told not to order here because they sucked, food was digusting, never the right order, food always cold when you get it, blah blah blah. Welp, I'm pretty rebellious so I order lmfao! Ordering over the phone was simple and easy. The lady I spoke to was sweet and got my order EXACTLY HOW I LIKE IT! Yes I'm SUPER PICKY BUT SHE NAILED IT ALONG WITH THE COOKS! I ordered the pizza fries light sauce, double cooked fries and extra cheese. Mmmm let just say 1 bite and it was done! AFREAKINGMAZING!!!! BEST I'VE HAD IN YEARS!!!
