Zero stars is the rating I want to give. I purchased a refurbished laptop from Odyssey through Newegg for my son for Christmas. Less than a month later, we got the blue screen of death. I contacted Newegg and started the replacement process. I wish now I would have just returned the laptop. In order to process the return, I had to remove the back and battery to get the serial number and the insides were filthy. Note that the picture shows the inside of the second laptop. We received an apology that many of the laptops had this issue and they were sorry ours was affected. We got our replacement laptop on Feb 12 and two weeks later, got the blue screen of death again. So we contacted Newegg and was told we now had to contact the manufacturer (Odyssey) directly. We were told we are out of the warranty period so we can't return it or get a replacement. We were also told that the notes showed there was nothing wrong with the first laptop I returned. I guess the blue screen of death just repairs itself when shipped. So again, it appears Newegg was negligent when noting my return. So now I am out $333 and no laptop for my 12 year old son. Read more5 star positive review for Odyssey Computers customer service! I recently purchased a refurbished HP Zbook laptop from Odyssey through Newegg at a very reasonable price. The laptop arrived, worked flawlessly as advertised, but had some minor mechanical issues that would have been hard to spot except by the end user. I understood I was purchasing a slightly used laptop, but concerned about these issues enough to contact Odyssey customer service by phone. It is common these days to be put on hold and get a run around -to my surprise and delight, Anna picked up on the 2nt ring and after hearing my concern, assured me Odyssey strives to ship quality products, apologized immediately for any inconvenience, sent me a return order and immediately had a replacement laptop on the way. Odyssey customer service stayed in touch making sure my new device arrived and was satisfactory. I'm now using my new (refurbed) Zbook, it's fitting my needs perfectly -including writing this review.
