I’m changing my review again. It’s all over the place. Pre-pandemic it was 5, pandemic years it was 1, now late 2023 I’m going up to 4*.
The tacos are just too good. They keep upping the price which is annoying but there’s really no better tacos. I’ve tried everywhere around here and everything else just falls short.
I used to get 5 tacos for $10 now it’s like 4 tacos for closer to $15. If you have a family to feed it’s going to be pretty pricy. For a family it is cheaper to go to a restaurant, tips included than to eat here. If it is one or two people then the price is fine.
They are very accommodating. If you want alterations they typically oblige. They understand English so don’t be worried if you can’t speak Spanish.
On a good day their red/green sauces are unbeatable but sometimes they aren’t that great.
If it isn’t very busy then the food can be a bit bland because they use the same hot plate to cook most things. So you get the flavor from other meals when it’s busy (this is good flavor). Otherwise ask for half x half x to get a good flavor going on.
The chicken quesadillas are good too. My picky kids devour them but with a large family we don’t really feed the whole crew from here anymore now the prices are up. It would be cool if they added a family deal or something!
The beef you get the random chewy gristly bit which I can’t stand. I usually get the chicken or pork tacos and so far this year they have all been great.
On a good day they are 5* despite the price. Sometimes they drop the ball so I’m staying at 4*. They truly have the best tacos though so if it’s your jam...
Read moreI've gone to this place several times & I've never had a bad meal. It's comforting when I go here that it's all hispanic/latin america ppl that work here & come here so I know I feel I'm getting something quite authentic. Personally I love getting the carne asada & chorizo tacos mixed together, which they're nice enough to do since it's not on the menu & their tomatillo salsa is awesome too. Really, you just can't go wrong. I've worked my way through their menu & every meal has been great, the meat nice & tender & definitely someplace I'll always have a craving for. I moved back to Glen Burnie after my divorce & I had lived right down the road from a few taco trucks in Delaware.. I had always missed those taco trucks until I moved here & this is just as good if not better than the other taco trucks I've been to. I've even eaten taquitos in the mission district in San Francisco, California & the taquitos here were nicely crunchy without completely being dry which a lot of places overcook the chicken inside. Anyway, definitely a must try if you're craving amazing...
Read moreI have come here several times and always had a great experience. However, yesterday there was a man working who I had never seen before, and I had an experience that will stop me from coming here any longer or recommending this taco truck to anyone. I called and ordered two sets of tacos, one al pastor and one with 2 steak 2 al pastor. When we got there to pick up the food, they claimed we also ordered a set of birria tacos. I informed them that sorry, but I did not order that, and they essentially grabbed the entire order out of my hands and demanded I pay for all of it if I wanted the two sets of tacos that I did order. So, I left without getting any of it and will never return. Who is going to pay for something they did not order? What a terrible way to treat customers over a simple mistake or...
