We went here to try something new since we had not been here yet. The Ramen and the Sushi was good. The Hibachi is subpar and overly expensive. The service was beyond terrible. The young white male checked on us once, while he waited hand and foot on a table behind us who was sat after us, ordered before us and left before us. We spent 20 minutes waiting just to order when we were the only people who hadn't been helped yet (before 2 other tables came in). He finally came to take our order only after taking the orders of the tables who came in after us and was told to by the Asian gentlemen who made the wonderful sushi. Hibachi was to come with soup, salad, grilled vegetables and fried or white rice. I never got my soup or salad until I was almost done with my meal and had to ask for it. The fountain drinks were all out of syrup and they did not have any in stock to fix it, so we had to order bottled drinks after waiting the 20 minutes to order and sitting there parched. I highly recommend you not waste your time here because to pay $50 for 2 meals on the island with bland food and terrible service, you should just go to Asahi or Okada...

I don’t typically write any type of reviews. My now Fiancé and I celebrated Valentine’s Day yesterday and was just overall very confused of the whole atmosphere. Our waitress probably said maybe 5 words to us and didn’t ever ask if we needed anything. They were so busy with making to-go orders, that everyone in the main dining room was waiting 30-40 minutes between refills, appetizers, entrées, etc. I completely understand it’s a holiday and it’s expected to have waits. But we waited 45 minutes for our tuna (which is NOT COOKED). After we got our appetizer, our waitress was no where to be found so we couldn’t ask how much longer. I witnessed another costumer that sat not too far try and get the attention of literally anyone, but no one came back and helped him, so he eventually left with his food to go.

The tasting of the food was actually very good. The sushi and scallop hibachi were very tasty. But the service was a complete let down in my opinion. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry before and completely understand being busy, as it’s a smaller restaurant I totally get it. But I was a bit disappointed in...

So incredibly tasty... I ate here on my birthday. We ordered the pork tonkatsu, spicy poke, seaweed salad, philly roll, california roll, eel roll and the vegas roll. I think the vegas roll (eel, crab, avocado in a roll that's deep fried) is the most delicious sushi I've ever eaten. Probably my favorite food in the whole area. I usually don't go for the fancy (pricey) chef special rolls but this one is fantastic. You must try it. All the food was delicious, cooked/assembled perfectly. The seaweed salad was a tiny bit spicy but very enjoyable. The chef is very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. I felt the prices were really fair, maybe even a little less than comparable Asahi. I look forward to eating here again and telling everyone about this new...

Do not be fooled by the horrid creepy exterior (we almost turned back but we're curious about the reviews this place received): This place offers what is EASILY the best Sushi served in this area, and maybe the best Sushi we've had... ever. The only thing Asahi has over this place is the Unajo (Broiled Eel over rice). Otherwise, this place offers Sushi that is at a completely different level. Not a single roll wasn't amazing. After we were done I started thinking this might just be the most satisfied we've both been with a Sushi meal.

The food was good but the service definitely left a lot to be desired. We ordered an appetizer which came midway through our meal and the server got one of the orders wrong, blamed it on the kitchen, and then told us that since it was already done it was too late for them to fix it. Completely blew my mind. We were there trying to have a nice and enjoyable evening so we just went with it, but I'll think twice before going here again.
