Thai 99 — Restaurant in Maryland

We love thai food and was trying this restaurant for the first time. So, we ordered several things. The food was nasty. The curry puffs were unpleasantly sweet, wings had no season, traditional curry was soupy and somehow flavorless and the thai tea tasted stale. This was a mistake. We feel bad as some of the folks in our party was having thai for the first time. This was not the place to introduce it to them! The waiter was very polite and accommodating as I asked for mango curry sauce to revive my dish. But to ad insult to injury, there was hair in that! Would definitely recommend! My husband and I went here to celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious! I got the Panang curry and my husband got the ginger stir fry. At first I was disappointed that I only got one piece of broccoli but then I discovered that there was more in the bowl, one floret was just placed on top for plating/presentation. The server was polite and attentive. The decor was charming. I especially loved the crocheted flowers! If I could give this place a 0 I would, Went in this evening with my husband and the server kept saying she didn’t have majority of what we ordered. Okay we were very understanding and ordered something else. A lady came in after us after our drink & food order had been taken and the server proceeds to pour the lady and herself a glass a wine and cheers and pull up a chair before getting our drinks. This lady was sitting in this chair with wine and engaging in a conversation while we were just sitting there waiting for our drinks. I walked right out and my husband canceled our order.
