Jerry D's Saloon — Restaurant in Maryland

This was our third time visiting Jerry D's. I've left 5-star reviews for the food and for both of the servers we had previously. The second time we were there, the waitress that I am now referring to, stood at the table next to us talking about our server in a nasty manner. I felt bad for our server because she was as nice as could be and one of the best servers I've ever had! But, I minded my own business and carried on; I didn't say a thing. We were very unfortunate to be seated in this lady's section this time. Everything seemed okay until halfway through ordering, it seemed as though every question I asked was answered condescendingly. I am an intelligent woman, I don't need anyone speaking to me as if I am stupid. Ten minutes after we finished our appetizers, she came to the table to tell us that they were out of my meal. When I asked her why she was just bringing this to our attention, she again spoke to me like I was stupid asking, "Well you did get appetizers, didn't you?" I was speechless! The audacity of this woman was unbelievable. How is this woman working in customer service at all and how is she working there if she's that rude to customers? Then she stood at the table across the room, laughing and joking with a couple for over 15 minutes. Another server brought our food to us and she was so nice. They must be used to her treating customers that way because she apologized for the woman's attitude! I'm guessing she's a manager or something because I cannot think of any other reason that this would be tolerated. I'm not sure if I will ever go back. For the owner to accept this behavior is appalling, to say the least. Other than that, the food was great and the other two servers were very kind. I do want to point out that I have never left a bad review anywhere. That's how rude this woman was! Fair warning: If you decide to go, just don't sit in the little old lady's section with the glasses...

I have been a long time patron of this establishment, I'm talking at least 8-10 years and I will never set foot in the doors there again as long as I live . The waitresses date patrons , cater to those tables first and the owner's wife or girlfriend has made a complete mockery of the place . She uses it as her own drinking hole and has been acting like she owns the place since she first popped up . It's sad to see that a man that's worked so hard to be where he is losing customers due to his partners behavior . You can't miss her stumbling around and slurring her words . One of her employees didn't like one of our friends and we were pretty much told not to come back , even though the individual wasn't present . She let us spend our money , order desert and additional carry out and then said something to us about not coming back . If you're a "friend of bill" then you'd be just as offended , when someone called her out for being drunk she said "while at least I can handle my liquor , unlike you guys" while clearly not cause you can almost never walk a straight line . I've spent TONS of money in that place and they'll definitely be taking a hit once we ALL stop...

My husband and I came here only in honor of my dad who passed a year ago. He used to take me here when he wanted a good steak. Well apparently ALOT has changed in 25 years. While that’s somewhat expected I just have to say how disappointed I was at the food and the service. My steak was terrible, taste and texture. I ate one bite and pushed it aside. Steamed shrimp had very little seasoning, essentially flavorless. Hubbys burger was ordered medium came out rare. We were assured the wings were naked(hubby cannot have breaded) they came out breaded and waitress acted as if she never told us they weren’t. Waitress was not attentive whatsoever, empty cups on table forever and were still empty when we got our check with no offer to refill them or to go drinks. Waitress never checked on us once. Just an overall terrible disappointing experience. I’m shocked at all the 4 and 5 star reviews and no I’m not bougie and I know it’s a saloon not a steakhouse but the quality of 80% of our meal was truck...
