Jimmy John's have the best sandwiches.... always Fresh and delicious. Update 10/04/2020: The sandwiches are still and always have been fresh and delicious, however the quality of service has decreased significantly. The staff for the most part were swift and "freaky fast" as usual, however an employee in particular (Desiree) at this location gave my son a poor inshop experience. He was confused as opposed to which tuna sandwich was his (him and my older son both ordered tunas), and when he asked Desiree to help him identify his tuna, she answered him quick and with an attitude. He had to grab his own bag as well and napkins for the subs (4 in total excluding the lunch box), which was peculiar to him since the Jimmy John's service that he used receiving at least offers to bag the sandwiches for the customer when its that many sandwiches. He vocalizes this complaint to Desiree directly, as well as the shift supervisor before leaving. Also, the chips where missing from the box lunch and this mistake was not realized until after leaving the establishment , which was very inconvenient and took away from the freaky fast experience in his opinion. Desiree was responsible for impartially assembling the box lunch. My son was the one that had to walk back into the restaurant to get the chips that were missing.
He returned to the location later that day (10/04/2020) after we enjoyed the food. Desiree happened to still be working her shift, so he asked her what happened regarding the missing chips from the box lunch. He was not upset at Desiree when he returned, but just thought Desiree was a new hire and hasn't been properly trained how to do the job yet. However instead of showing any form of accountability, she was very nonchalant and careless towards the situation and his bad experience. Her excuse was that my son didn't hand her chips to put in the lunch box, just the cookie. My son asked if she could at least acknowledge her mistake and apologize for her poor service, (the customer is always right, right?) to which she shrugged him off and walked away. He was very disappointed with the service provided by Desiree at this Minstrel location, and hopes that actions can be taken to better train the Jimmy John's staff at this location to avoid experiencing a situation similar to the one he...
Read moreCustomer service at this place is really bad. My friend and I order the same thing everyday right across the street, so to my surprise when wasn’t what I ordered we called the store to get a refund or if they can send the correct order out. The GM immediately caught an attitude when answering the phone and said she personally made my order and was correcting me even though I had just gotten an incorrect sandwich and calling me a liar. She demanded proof that the order was messed up and that I return the sandwich and instead of coming across the street to verify herself after calling me a liar, she sends a driver to hear the tail end of our rant and give him the sandwich and receipt to show her. We apologized to the kid for her mistake and he apologized too for something he didn’t even do and was more professional than the so called GM unfortunately. She came at my character and was very rude so after all that I will no longer be a regular...
