Katerina's Kravings — Restaurant in Maryland

I have never been this mad for breakfast before in my life. So I’m driving home and I see this spot I’ve never seen before. I’m going in there, expecting to get a basic quick breakfast I wasn’t expecting much in the way of service and I was expecting to probably be overcharged, unfortunately none of my goals were met. The deli grill is very nice. The menu is clear and varied. The service staff was absolutely easy to order and very nice I ordered. Pancakes with bacon and a regular drink. I sit down and she brings out this amazing plate of pancakes. I thought it was just gonna be a very depressing stack of pancakes. No, these pancakes were light and fluffy and absolutely delicious. The bacon was cooked terrifically. And here is the point of major frustration. I didn’t initially want to eat every bit on the plate. But they forced me with how well it tasted these people. I was visiting from out of town. I Googled 'breakfast near me' and Katerina's was the first place that came up. It was only a half mile or so from the Holiday Inn. I went in and there was one customer, no employees and a note saying 'back in 10 minutes'. The delay wasn't a problem, since it gave me time to peruse the menu. I decided on some great sounding pancakes with sausage. A few minutes later the employee returned and apologized for the delay. He quickly took care of the other customer and took my order. A few minutes later I had 3 perfect dinner plate-sized pancakes and a sausage patty. I could only eat 1.5 pancakes and the sausage. They were excellent!! I got a to-go box, thanked the server/cook and left VERY satisfied...and I already have tomorrow's breakfast. If I'm back in that area, I'm DEFINITELY going...

There is nothing I love more than a good hamburger. Most places are so disappointing, but not Katerina's Kravings. First time I went in was because I was really hungry, so I googled "what's near me". After driving around trying to find this place, I was even hungrier.

I ordered the hamburger with blue cheese and apple slices. Wow, delicious! The burger was generous and juicy. I haven't been served sliced apples since I was a kid and it felt like a warm hug. The staff of two women and a man were all really friendly.

It was such a good experience I went back today. Same friendly staff who couldn't be nicer. It was 2:15pm and I knew they closed at 3pm but I never felt rushed. This time I ordered the classic burger and the apple slices. Mmmmm yum! Just as delicious as I remembered it.
