My fiancĂ© and I came here for traditional Irish pub food. We drove 50 minutes to try this place. We ordered the Irish nachos (they’re $6 during Friday’s happy hour). We added corned beef to it. It was good. We each ordered a shepherd’s pie. I was actually very disappointed. It was a ton of gravy. I had one piece of beef in my entire dish. And two pieces of fat chewy gristle. Tons of shallots in it. I expected it to have a lot more vegetables (such as peas and carrots) and meat and mashed potatoes. It had a very thin layer or mashed potatoes on top. Small amount of peas. No carrots. I like my shepherds pie full of veggies, meat and mashed potatoes. I think it is a hearty meal. This was mostly gravy soup with a super thin layer of mashed potatoes and a few peas. Maybe I got a bad batch. I read other shepherds pie reviews before coming here and everyone was bragging about it. I’m sad that I can’t say the same. It was $19 for one shepherds pie. What I received wasn’t worth $19 at all. However, their chocolate lava cake was good. My fiancĂ© only ordered it because we were still hungry and disappointed in our shepherds pie. The waitress was awesome and the atmosphere was cool. Kinda medieval/skyrim vibe.

A nice sit down restaurant. There were many food options which included size-able appetizer, entree, sandwich, and side options. The food was hot and prepared fresh. It was of good quality as well, not something that would make you sick. The portions were reasonable, on the medium to large side, but depending on your choices is not so much as to make you feel overly full. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pub style as would be expected. Most of the structure was wood, with some aspects designed to look like stone. There were shields, halberds, and firearms that decorated the walls giving a very rustic feel. For a pub, I was disappointed by the drink selection. The draft list was okay but not nuanced enough to make the restaurant stand out as a pub. Additionally the cocktail list was very small, consisting of only 4 drinks as far as I could find on the 2 menus I was provided. Overall I would say the restaurant is about average with good food and a sub par drink list that could be bumped up, since it is a pub after all. Good venue for live music with a dedicated stage was enough to bump the star count to 4.

Quite a warm day when we visited but we soon opted for the outdoor area given that inside we felt we should've brought jackets/sweaters! We soon settled in at a high top table and I ordered drinks amidst the crowded bar. I don't think they barkeep was having a particularly good evening but we were friendly and considerate and he took very good care of us! We both throughout thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. My lady had the Goat Cheese Salad (Breaded and lightly fried goat cheese medallions with mesclun greens, candied pecans, and grape tomatoes drizzled with a raspberry balsamic vinaigrette) and I chowed down on their house-made meatloaf with champ taters and broccoli with a rich gravy. A warm but enjoyable visit, so we'll be back... Just maybe with something warm to throw on if we want to be inside đŸ˜‰đŸ»

Whatever you do, DON'T GO TO THE STILL especially the day after St. Patty's day. Everything about your experience will be horrible. We went there today with our family of 6 (my husband, 2 kids and 2 elderly parents). I called ahead and was told that there were plenty of tables. We went there at 6pm for dinner. We were never told that there was a very limited menu for this evening. You would think that the restaurant would be so much fun during this week and with a full regular menu but that was NOT the case. We had no idea that they had had a festival in a tent until 4pm. Our experience was horrendous and shameful of any restaurant of their caliber, much less an Irish restaurant around St. Patty's day. We were never told until we were seated that there was a limited menu. We were never told that they were only serving their "festival food" in the restaurant. The hostess sat us and never gave us menus. I had to get up and request them and then was given the "limited menu". We asked if the food like the Shepard's pie was the same recipe as the regular menu and the waiter told us that it was. IT WAS NOT ANYTHING like their regular recipes. It was like Irish Fast food. It was nasty and luke warm. They actually served the food in the restaurant (and by the way at 4pm the restaurant was less than 1/4 filled) on PLASTIC plates and PLASTIC cups!!!!! My daughter ordered a burger and it was burned and cold. We we said something the waiter told us that the food was pre-cooked for the festival. We had to ask for condiments and it took forever to find the waiter. I had to get up again and find him. Many of the staff were sitting around the end of the bar and hanging out around the kitchen door. We had to beg to get another drink. The were not serving appetizers and they served no Irish Soda Bread because it was the St. Patty's day weekend. DOES that make any sense????? They had no live Irish music as they usually do on the weekends and you could barely hear any music at all. It seemed like we were interrupting a staff dinner. We will never go back and we will tell everyone the same!!! We have been there many times and have NEVER experienced anything so bush-league as this. Shame on the management/lack there of. It was the very worst experience ever!!! The management should never be in the food service business!!! We even asked for the manager and the experience...

I'm being nice with 2 stars. I was SO excited to try this restaraunt. You have no idea how excited I was for this. Pitter patter pop!!!!!! I had my friend who lives in Dublin choose my meal (sent her the menu), it was going to be awesome! Nnnnoope. Not only were we possibly forgotten about, our dishes were dirty. I mean, my friend had red lipstick on his glass but no one was wearing any lipstick in our small group. There was a HUGE group that came after us (at least 3x the number of people). They got their food and drinks and finished it before we even saw some of ours. Our food was COLD. Our drinks would take at least 20 minutes or longer to get to us. Meaning we went and waited to get them. Well not I, I tried and the bar tender looked at me and that was it. He ignored me, too so after a few ignores I walked away. I don't know why but I feel like it was all on purpose. There would be no other reason. They his us in the back and didn't care what happened next. They comped our drinks, I think and charged us half for the cold heat lamp food. Whatever. I'm am absolutely let down. I hadn't been out in years, celebrating a friend's birthday. Did I mention we drove an hour and a half to get there and waited equal or longer for any of our food. When we first arrived, the pub was almost completely empty. Why? Why did you treat us this way? Its really bothering me, I can't see how this was not on purpose. But for what reason. I REALLY want to go back and try it because the friends we went with had been there before and said it was amazing. But from what we experienced...

I went here with my fiance yesterday for Brunch. I had the worst experience I have had at a restaurant in a long time. The waiter was a guy who looked to be in his early 20's. He sat us, asked what we wanted to drink, and left basically as soon as my fiance answered him, and didn't get what I wanted to drink, never asked after that point either. Brought my fiance his coffee, brought us 2 waters. He asked us if we wanted to do their brunch buffet, my fiance said he would, I asked what was in it. He told me what was in it and I said I didn't want to do that and told him what I wanted to order. He just decided on his own that I in fact did want the buffet that I said I didn't want. After my fiance basically finished his food, this whole time I thought I was waiting for mine I said "How much do you want to bet he just decided I was getting the buffet too" I went to the bathroom, partially to try and calm myself down, and 2/3 stalls had 0 toilet paper in them. Mind you, this place hadn't been open for that long and there was only 1 other table there aside from us. When I came back, my fiance told me that he told the waiter that I didn't ask for the buffet, and told him what I wanted. I had my food within 5 minutes of coming back from the bathroom, but guess what! The only thing about it that was hot was the bowl they served it to me in, and the melted cheese on top. Otherwise the entire thing was still cold and congealed, like they just microwaved it and didn't do it for long enough or something. As long as I have a say I will never return to this place. Save yourself the...
