Kim's Diner — Restaurant in Maryland

I found out about this place from my coworker and I’ve now been here twice and I must say the food is giving home cooked meal. The first time I was able to order online and the second time I called in my order and both times were just as effective. There were some people in line behind me and I kept hearing the guy rave about this place and how he has been coming here for years…well, I’m glad this diner came up on my radar.

This is quickly becoming my Saturday morning breakfast spot! Keep in mind it is a carryout, so don't expect plush seating and candles, but the food is good and affordable. Everyone on the staff is pleasant. Customers affectionately call the owner "mama." She returns the love be reciting their regular order. I've had the salmon cakes breakfast. Kim’s diner is a literal hole in the wall and looks like it, however the older woman taking orders is pleasant and polite and the breakfast was good and reasonably priced. My only issue is with how orders are taken. A few orders are taken and you then have to wait while she gathers the orders of the previous people, she serves them and they pay before you can order which makes the wait longer. It would be great if one person job is to take orders and payments while others focus on gathering the food and serving...
