Came in for breakfast. Waited a long time to be seated while 5 employees walked by , looked away, or talked amongst themselves. Finally after being seated , I waited for over 5 minutes for anyone to take my drink / food order . After asking , someone got around to me. It was NOT busy. Ordered, food arrived, ate. No one ever came by to see if I needed anything , to refill my coffee , etc. As a minority , I get these type of experiences from time to time. I gave the wait staff all of the benefit of the doubt . It was hard because every White person was immediately acknowledged, greeted seated and order taken. My only suggestion would be more TRAINING to the entire staff to treat ALL customers as equals. The biscuits and gravy are made from scratch and it’s the best I’ve had (besides Grandma’s)! We love the homemade bread, and if the baked French toast is the breakfast special of the week, GET IT! It’s amazing, you won’t regret it. We never spend more than $20 because the prices are so reasonable for two people. It’s such a cute little place and the fact that it’s inside the market makes it a great place to come if you want to shop around too.
