Though the staff are friendly and have good customer service every blue moon, there is a greater percentage of times my family and I have visited and there was reprehensible service and an overall bad experience. One time we went inside and the entire restaurant smelled of urine. I turned heels and left because I lost my appetite. Another time there was a long sticky stain on the floor from the door to the counter and a staff member had an attitude when I politely mentioned it was there. During the Shamrock shake being sold, each time I ordered it it came it half vanilla half mint instead of mint all the way through so I asked for it to be remade. Both times this happened, the person making it took it back, slammed it on the counter and huffed as they remade it. Common sense would say if the machine sat since the last Shamrock was made, run it in a small cup just enough to get the mix started up right, discard that, then put the cup under it to fill for the customer. It isn't rocket science!
Along with that, the drink machines in the lobby are constantly out of order with signs kn them. Also some of the profane language heard coming from the cook line and drive thru staff amongst one another as you enter the store or are standing placing your order with your children is enough to make me skip the trip. Also one of the computers that you use as a kiosk had had a blue screen for months now. Lucky they have two more that are slow.
I grew up in the 80's and 90's and so back then McDonalds food was a treat for good grades, after a sports competition or just a special outing outside of the nightly home cooked meals. Maybe you even held your birthday party there. Those days arr long gone, but I try and sort of do the same for my 00's born children. Because we typically eat healthy every day, some Mickey D's in moderation won't kill them. Well, between the entire experience and also taste of their way of preparing food at this location I'd do better off getting the materials from a grocery store and making the entire meal myself at home. It'll taste better and also we wouldn't have to endure the extreme ghettoness of this location.
I won't even getting started on using the drive thru. My advice is save your gas and go to either Mall Circle or Crain Hwy locations: they are quicker with order to...
Read moreLiterally the worst McDonald's you could ever go to. That's coming from someone who has traveled the world and eaten at McDonald's in at least 5 different countries. It's almost as if the job postings for this location said, "seeking people with attitude problems who will work as slowly as humanly possible and get your order wrong 100% of the time."
I have to believe this location is family run because nepotism is the ONLY reasonable explanation for not having fired 90% of the staff there at this point ... after all these complaints. Everyone I know in Waldorf absolutely despises this place. It's as if they're just like, "well its McDonald's so people are going to come regardless of how horribly we treat them."
Sometimes you just go because it's right there and maybe you want to roll the dice ... thinking, "hey, maybe someone will smile at me and say hello with genuine kindness instead of giving me a frown as soon as I make eye contact and talking to me like they want to rip my heart out just for daring to enter the restaurant during their shift." But no ... I have to accept that this will NEVER happen at this location on Leonardtown Rd. So that's it. I'm done. Never going here again. I'm also going to try to find out if this owner has any other franchises in the area so I can avoid all of his/her properties.
You know it's bad when someone who never reviews things on Google ... reviews...
Read moreI went to this McDonalds around 7:40 on 10/15, didn’t leave until around 8:15, so much for fast food. First, the young lady at the window clearly hates her job and was very unprofessional. She huffed and puffed the entire time, spoke with attitude, and called me “bruh” when I made a SLIGHT change to my order. By time I got to the window the manager/supervisor was at the window along with the girl that took my order. The manager/supervisor was standing there complaining with the window open along with the employee, how unprofessional, and she’s supposed to be the example. When I finally got to the window for my food, I already knew to make sure my sandwiches didn’t have onions on them, but of course they did because the girl that look my order was too busy having an attitude rather than actually listening. I was told to pull up. I asked the lady for BBQ sauce and sweet and sour because my kids already had their Happy Meals, the girl said she would put it in the bag with my cheeseburgers, so I told my kids to just start eating their fries, 15 minutes passed and my son decides to go ahead and eat his nuggets, only to see he only has 4 and we ordered 6. I wasn’t even in the mood to wait even longer for the nuggets too so I told him to just eat what he got. My cheeseburgers finally came out and there was no sauce. Horrible service and employees should not acceptable just because...
