New York Deli — Restaurant in Maryland

While eating a sandwich that was quite expensive to be subpar, over $12 for a can of Coke and basic BLT on rye (up charge for rye that I agreed to) with a request for extra lettuce and mayo (served in a massive glob on my sandwich wrapper upon discovering I got neither) at 2:35, I was asked when I would be leaving. The sign on the door said open to 3 which I pointed out. I planned on leaving after I finished eating which seemed unnecessary to say. I then told I could stay to finish by sandwich but why would I want to after such an encounter?

Suggestion to the owners, if you’re going to subject me to loud Christian music, at least Do Unto Others as You Would Have Them Do Unto You - make food on par with your pricing and don’t make people feel uncomfortable when they’re supporting your business within your posted operating hours. Recently after coming to US from India on a short trip. I have been struggling find decent meal for lunch (and dinner). I tried food in most of the nearby restaurants, like Subway (next to John Hopkins), Dominos (in Geithersburg) & many of the restaurants in Falls Grove Village center (I work near Key West Avenue).

I did not had the feel of a complete meal when I had food in any of these restaurants, its just another hotel.

I felt that Deli is quite different in that regard. The taste & quality of food is quite good. To me it felt like its hygiene, healthy(depends on what you chose) & tasty.

I recommend this to others who might be looking for a new taste/want to have a decent meal.

Good fresh food for a quick bite before or after a Dr appointment in the same building, super convenient location for patients! The home fries surprised me at how well seasoned they are and addition of tomato,onion, and peppers in the , so tasty! We also loved our sandwiches, perfectly toasted grilled cheese with bacon and tomato and a yummy bacon egg and cheese bagel.
