Panda Express — Restaurant in Maryland

I frequently order from the Nottingham (White Marsh) Maryland location located at 5351 Campbell Blvd, Rosedale MD 21237, but today I went inside for the very first time and had THE WORST service experience. I walked in at approx. 1:17pm to get the 2 plate meal with sides too. I stood at the beginning of the line and waited for the lady to ask me for my order. It was only me there. She looked at me and worked on what must be a drive thru or online order. Then she finished. Then she looked at me again, and started working on another order. So I thought hmmm, maybe I need to walk down to the end to order, because the lady at the beginning of the serving line area is clearly making eye contact but ignoring me.

I then walk down close to the register and the older, thinner woman there ask if I am picking up? I say no, that I want to place my order. She says I have to go back there (and points to where I was standing a waiting a moment ago, where the 1st lady was ignoring me) to the beginning of the serving line. As I walk backwards about 4-5 steps, one or two more customers walk in...and the 2nd older woman proceeds to wait on the man that walked in after me..this man who is now behind me in line. I was first - he was behind me. I thought I was in the twilight zone. WHAT KIND OF POOR SERVICE IS THIS?????

I was there first, at the top of the line, but the first woman wouldn't wait on me...then the 2nd woman points me not back to the first position, but to the end of the line. I have earned points on my app. I have a free side to claim...but geez I could not get waited on today at approx. 1:17-1:18pm on 3/21/2024. Whoever is running this location should be made aware. I went back to my office, now, with no lunch. Really disappointing, and I will share my story with your corporate...

I’ve been going to this Panda Express for about a little over 4 months and I’ve been really satisfied for the most part. However, today not so much! First off when I arrived I wasn’t greeted at all until the employee who's name tagged read (Asia) was done chopping up chicken. It was as if I weren’t even standing there then finally when I was greeted I was treated like I was wrong. Also, the cashier who were supposed to check me out had a busy phone conversation (which I can understand being as though I’ve worked in fast food). But it was the fact she pointed her finger at me to signal that I need to wait until she completes her call. I’m not sure what type of management is being taught at this location but I hope this review helps improves this locations customer service skills as well as maybe putting people with bubbly...

Food is fresh & my favorite is a Bigger Plate. Super Greens is BEST! * LOWERS my Blood Sugar so if u are Diabetic this is great. Made with Garlic sauce. No one around has any dish like this or as effective & healthy. Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Walnut Shrimp & Mushroom Chicken are my top favorites. U can order on their App but PLZ BEWARE - they use delivery drivers via Door Dash. They can be flakey & cop-out if ur address is not an EZ find & return ur food to the restaurant. Wish they hired their own delivery peeps.

Alternately, u can pickup or do drive-through pretty quick. Be sure to get there BEFORE 8:45-9pm bc kitchen makes no food after 8:45pm & u only get what they have...
