Pizza Boli's — Restaurant in Maryland

The pizza is definitely better than the big-name chain pizza places.

However, the customer service leaves much to be desired. We usually overlook the semi-unpleasantness but our most recent experience caused me to leave this review and email the corporate office.

We tried to order the Black Friday pizza special using the restaurant's app. The app was not working and the online ordering feature was inoperable as well. We called the store and spoke to someone who said he was the manager. He told us that--even though he was (1) aware of the existence of the special and (2) aware that the online ordering feature was not working--he would not honor the special...because we were not ordering online.

Even though I tried to reason with him by reiterating that I was PREVENTED from placing the order online through no fault of my own, the only response given was that I needed to send a text or email to share that there was a problem. This is of NO help when I was trying to take advantage of a special that will expire by the time someone has an opportunity to read my email.

I still think the pizza is very good. But please do better with...

I ordered a small thin crust pizza w/ onion, green peppers and pepperoni toppings. The toppings were placed under the cheese to obscure the limited portions. After we ate a few slices it became apparent that the pepperoni was missing.

I called and the cook vehemently and very rudely and combatively claimed he put 8 pieces of pepperoni on pizza himself. Just eight. I told him the 4 slices we ate didn’t have the topping. And after lifting the cheese from the remaining 4 slices we found 1 pepperoni on 3 of the slices remaining. The cook then hung up on me.

I called back and spoke w/someone named Chris claiming to be the manager. Said he would give us 1 free topping the next time we ordered a pizza. While he was more respectful, you got to be kidding me.

We paid 16.95 + 3.00 delivery for a small pizza and Chris wants to give us 1 topping free the next order.

Personally, I’ve never had a pizza where the toppings were hidden under the cheese— ever. Don’t order from this deceptive establishment. The quality of food and service is steadily declining and awful like their...

One week ago I ordered a extra large pizza with extra pepperoni's, and it was delivered cold without the extra toppings. I called back immediately, and spoke to a Manager who assured me that they will give me a free pizza the next time I order. After calling twice and speaking with 2 different Managers, the last response by a Manager was that I was a complainer, and they would rather not do business with me. I have been ordering from this location for 2+ years, and this has to be the worse customer service I have ever had with any food chain in this area. The Manager had the arrogance to get mad with me for their mistake, and with a Customer that has been buying from them for 2 years straight. And I paid $20 for this pizza, which is top dollar. I will recommend never doing business with such an establishment that does not care about their Customers, and too cheap to listen to a legitimate complaint which was their delivery problem.
