Potbelly — Restaurant in Maryland

I have ordered from this place twice and I will NEVER order from them again. My food was good both times but the time my order was ready was terribly slow. They need to either hire more people, or staff the restaurant around lunch time. My order was large both times, but I ordered it well in advanced and I was patient both times. The first time I ordered my order to be picked up, it was an order of about 10 sandwiches, the approximate time my order would be ready was said to be 12:00 PM. When I got to the restaurant I was informed that they haven't even started making our order yet, I waited an additional hour before I finally got my food and left. The second time I placed my order it was for delivery, we ordered 13 sandwiches and accepted the $10 delivery fee, and an additional tip was added to the order in order to pay for inconvenience of delivering such a large order. I placed my order at 11:30 AM and my order was predicted to be delivered by 12:30-12:45. We called them multiple times and asked them if the order was on it's way, the restaurant is 8 minutes away from us. Our order was delivered at 1:30 PM. This is ridiculous. What a colossal disappointment. My family and I are under quarantine measures from our doctors for potential COVID exposure. We ordered, through potbelly’s website, for delivery. We were called 30 minutes after the order was placed - the same time the food should have arrived - to be told by the store that they were significantly understaffed and it would be potentially another hour until the food could be delivered. I said that was fine. An hour later I get another phone call that the food is freshly made, yet they are so understaffed they cannot have their staff bring the food out and they contacted a third party vendor to do so, but the vendor would not travel the 7 miles to my house, instead of the 5 mile radius. The manager Briana was extremely rude and kept asking me if we just wanted a refund as there was nothing more they could do. So 2 hours have gone by, you have made us wait longer than expected to be told you actually can’t deliver our food, while I can’t leave the house. Talk about the WORST customer service. Such a shame as I order food from them often - including a recent $500 order to go to a hospital staffing lunch....

Went to this potbelly location and had a horrible experience the staff was not listening to what was wanted I ordered a pick your pair with a sandwich and a chilly the person yelled out cup of chilly but when I got up to the counter the employee asked if that was it and I said yes but was thinking she got the chilly and when I said something about it she said we’ll u said that was it and I said I thought u rang up the chilly as a pick your pair with the sandwich and tried to make me pay more for it as a separate item instead of a pick your pair so I pay more for it so I said Nevermind on the chilly and was irritated cause when I got there they had the deli meat sitting on the counter and had no napkins out for us to use and I never got a receipt with my order idk if I will come back to this place for all of the inconvenience doesn’t sounds like a good healthy running establishment.
