Food itself was fine. Service was fast as we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time. Our issues relate to service and the employeesā familiarity (or lack thereof) with their menu and promotions.
For myself I ordered a Double Protein Post-Workout Bowl. My companion ordered a Create Your Own Bowl. Instead of ringing me up for the bowl I ordered, I was charged for a regular bowl and then an additional charge for the extra protein. This made my bowl more expensive than menu item I requested.
We were visiting on February 14, 2025 to take part in the Valentineās Day promotion which was supposed to yield a free entrĆ©e. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to me, the cashier rang up our entrĆ©es separately (my entrĆ©e first) even though I had said we were ordering together. This should have been the first indication that we were intending to participate in the Valentineās Day promotion. I realized too late that the overcharge on my entrĆ©e made the original total for my entrĆ©e resemble the approximate total of both entrĆ©es.
I was then asked if I wanted to redeem the free entrĆ©e (to which I said yes) thinking this was the Valentineās Day promotion that brought us to this restaurant on this day. Instead the cashier redeemed my birthday reward which was valid through the end of the month. I understood what had happened when he then asked my companion to pay for their food. At that point I stated I thought we had redeemed the Valentineās promotion, to which the cashier replied that no, we would have needed to add a drink to the order to redeem that promotion. He added that it was too late redeem that promotion because I had already paid for my food.
Itās impossible to know what was the cashier was thinking. He certainly knew the details and requirements of the promotion after it was too late to participate in it. Why not say to us something to the effect of, āHey, if you add a drink to these 2 bowls, one of the bowls will be free!ā? Instead I lost my birthday reward 2 weeks before its natural expiration, was overcharged on my entrĆ©e (still had to pay for the additional charge when the entire entrĆ©e would have been free had the order been rung up correctly) and then had to pay for my companionās food separatelyāand at full price.
Had the cashier been on the ball, the food wouldāve been rung up together, we wouldāve been prompted to add a drink to the order, one entrĆ©e would have then been free, and I would have retained my birthday reward with another 2 weeks to redeem it.
Again, hard to say what the cashier was thinking. It was either a lapse in thinking on his part until the precise point of no return (a split second after the transaction was processed) or a deliberate act to increase the sales totals at a time when no one else was in the restaurant. To make matters even worse, when I later checked my rewards account to confirm that I had in fact forfeited my birthday reward as a result of this series of customer service mistakes, I did not receive any rewards points for the full price entrĆ©e (my companionās) that I had to pay for separately.
All in all, a disappointing experience and one that left us feeling misunderstood, misled, and overcharged, if not a bit taken...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to this location for the first time this evening with my husband. Worst experience Iāve EVER had. Ordered two chicken and steak bowls. Everything looked so appetizing and the staff was quite friendly in the beginning. As I start to eat I realized the chicken was RAW!!! I immediately spit it out and brought it to the attention of the staff, one girl just apologized and carried on about her business so along came the āmanagerā Camila. She didnāt even apologize she didnāt check the bowls she did absolutely nothing! Not even offered a refund. I was furious, so I walked out. Came back after I called them and asked to speak to the manager. I was told by an employee she was too busy to come to the phone. And mind you I called while Iām sitting in my car in front of the restaurant with not a soul in the restaurant!! Unbelievable. So she finally got on the phone and said to come back if I want another bowl. I walked in and told her I would prefer a refund. She told me she didnāt know how to do that. How are you a manager and you know nothing about your position? No customer service what so ever. She told me she could ONLY refund ONE bowl because she didnāt see two. After I handed her my original receipt. I mentioned to her that the coke was out as well and the soda was sitting on the table. She refused to refund that as well and told me to pick another soda. Iām not sure if she was just āactingā like a manager or she just doesnāt know what the role of being a manager in a restaurant is. So rude and just horrible customer service. I will not be returning to this location ever again. And I really hope to all who reads the reviews on this place thinks twice before stepping in that place. Absolutely DISGUSTED!!! Do better Qdoba! Hire better employees who will make your company stand out...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI placed an online order for pickup. My husband went to the location around 6:30pm to pick up the food. He asked for our order and at first they said they didn't have any orders with the order number even after my husband showed her the order confirmation. Then they said the order had been picked up. He told them he hadn't picked it up and requested a new order made or a refund. The cashier called the manager on the phone and I spoke with her. I asked for a remake of refund since my food was gone. She yelled and accused him of picking up the order and trying to get a new meal for free. She told me she won't allow the staff to remake my order or refund my money. She then hung up on him. As he was still talking to the cashier a customer came in with a bag of food that was delivered by door dash. He told the cashier that the food was not what his wife ordered and the name on the bag is Valerie Blake. door dash delivered the wrong food. He said his wife's name is Valerie Smith. My husband then asked the man to see the order and it was ours. The cashier never apologized to my husband for falsely accusing him of picking up the order. The manager that hung up on him never apologized for her behavior and disrespect. We will NEVER order from this racist location again! There are plenty of places that won't DISRESPECT and DISCRIMINATE against us. The other customer told me I should report the manager to corporate because that is...
