This was by far the worst customer service that I have ever received. The chicken that I received was old and burnt. I politely requested a replacement for only the pieces of chicken that were old and burnt. The lady at the window accused me of always trying to get new chicken. I informed her that I live 30 minutes away and this was not the case. I have only dined at this establishment a few times. She then said “you people” always want something for free and then slammed the dive thru window in my face NUMEROUS times, refusing to give me my chicken. She then sent another employee to the window with 2 pieces of chicken and I informed her that those were not the pieces I originally had and I asked for an equal replacement for what I had. I also asked if I could speak with the manager about the poor customer service and she told me that there was no manager for me to speak to. The previous employee then came back to the window and slammed it in my face again.

I am extremely frustrated by the poor customer service that I received. Further, it is infuriating to think that I would be generalized because of the color of my skin. It is extremely saddening that in 2022 I still have to deal with being treated inferior because I am African American. I work extremely hard for everything that I have earned and should be treated equitably. This establishment will NEVER get my patronage again. Additionally, I will be filing a formal complaint for the poor service and racial insensitivity that I...

Hey man, this is a fast food restaurant. Americans don't go to the fast food joint for the ambiance. We go for the fulfillment of our comfort food needs. Or because we have bought into the notion that we'll get our food "fast" as in sometime later after weve enjoyed a long meaningful spell in the queue along with other automobile operators equally optmistic about the promise of something being done quickly and done "well." Or because we are in love with some damn thing on the menu that we simply can't live without. Or because we have a food addiction, are huge fat slobs, and have no willpower. Mix and match any of these qualities, and you have the basis for a visit to the joint. That's just, like, my opinion, man. In the case of Roy's Roger, you find the best fast food Roast Beef sammich, and the best fast food hamsburger that money can buy. That's the "Double R Bar" burger. When you pair these two glorious choices with your own customizations from the "Fixin Bar," well then, by golly Padna, you've got yourself one Jim dandy of an answer to the afore mentioned "basis" or "motivation" question as to why we visit a fast food joint. Personally, I'm addicted to these two menu items, and they comfort me. Go ahead and do some food choice introspection. Y'all cowboys and cowgirls, try it out for yourselves. Y'all won't be disappointed. And, come on...

Staff was friendly. Manager greeted us upon entering the line. Roast beef would benefit from being completely dipped in a less watery aujus. The (new?) corn dusted rolls suck. I mean they suck bad. These things are notorious for becoming brittle when eve slightly stale, which they were. The corn is scratchy and completely senseless. Thus, all 4 large roast beef sandwiches were garbage. Lobby was clean but cold, and the roys sauce was cold, thicker as though either the lobby ambeit temperature made it that way sitting, or they were stored in a walk in. Now the clincher. Neither my wife nor daughter were able to wash their hands with soap. Upon I'm forming the manager, he stated "He forgot the one on the wall was broken. And that he would need to replace it." So the one on the wall had only a bracket and the store bought pump on sink was empty, though crusty as to suggest it was sitting empty for quite some time. So who knows how the employees wash their hands. The male restroom was squared away and clean. If Roy Rogers is to expand to their once greatness, I suggest fixing the above issues. Though, after years of talking up Roy Rogers to my family, their first visit didn't make for a...

Lifelong Roy' Roast Beef Sandwich Fanatic here. The good: Service was excellent, even accommodating special request for extra pickles, and chatting nicely at the window, and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich was excellent. The bad: I was given packets of Kraft BBQ at the drive through for my Roast Beef Sandwich - criminal. My husband went inside and got the Real Deal Roy's sauce at the Fixins Bar. The pickles were Not the Roy's limp, sour, compliment I count on, but seemed like Vlassic pickles. Good but not the same, not what I came for. The bun was a standard, store-bought kaiser roll, laden with cornmeal - a mess. Even so, I was still excited for that beef...but alas, it was quite overcooked. I never pass up a Roy's, but I may have to change my policy for this particular location.

I just learned last year that there are still Roy Rogers locations in Maryland. None of them are nearby, so any visit we make is rare and for a treat. We love the fried chicken, but was disappointed in the quality control at this location. (This was our first time here.) All of the wings we saw still had feathers on them. I get it; it's chicken. However, fried feathers look unappealing. If I can see it right away, so can the kitchen staff! I brought this to the attention of the manager. She offered me another wing, also with feathers on it! The pick up order also wasn't ready until about 15 minutes after the pick up time despite the few customers in the restaurant. This hasn't been our experience at other locations.

I feel like I've been sleeping on Roy Rogers. ‼️‼️‼️ Two #5s were $20+, but the amount of meat on the sandwiches was so worth the price. The fill up station meant that I could dress my sandwich with as much onion and tiger sauce as I wanted. As a strong lover of pit beef, I had no clue Roy Rogers was in the same ballpark. ⚾ The thick cut French fries also remind me of boardwalk fries. The fact that they have malt vinegar is a shot to my heart. 💘💘💘 If I'm too far from Pioneer, this is a great option to scratch the itch. I'll honestly visit RR a lot more often in the future. 👍
