Visit: 12/30/2020, before noon Catonsville, MD location. I enjoy Starbuck's products, but tend to visit as a treat and/or with a gift card. I and two of my daughters stopped in this location near our home (yet not very convenient) on our way to visit family. My oldest and I each had a gift card from Christmas - she used mobile ordering for herself and sister. Since I always have difficulties signing in and ordering, I went inside to the store and got in line, while my daughters waited by pickup. There were multiple staff interchangeably and very busily assisting customers, filling/"calling out" and "delivering" orders. When it was my turn, a pleasant & friendly young man assisted me. He took my order and instructed me to stay there and he would personally make my drink. I have ordered the same item many times at different locations - grande blonde roast, caramel macchiato with coconut milk and a caramel drizzle. Even with a few variations, a standard "menu" item. I have never paid attention directly, so I have no idea of the exact process, nor if he was correct or not. When he presented my drink after an unusually quick time, and even though I glimpsed inside the cup before placing the stir stick, I didn't question that it looked a little "off" from the usual. By the time I tasted it, I was at the car - and was VERY disappointed. Almost no flavor or sweetness, barely the coffee taste. I have NO idea what he did or didn't do, but it was definitely NOT what I ordered. I am not sure if he was in a hurry due to the volume of people/orders, plain forgetfulness or lack of training, either way, wrong. My oldest also said hers was not good, but didn't specify further. I am not one to complain, but we were really looking forward to them, especially wasting $ from a gift card, and had a two hour car ride ahead. Read moreI visit this Starbucks alot. It is THE ONLY one within about 5 miles of my house. This store is always busy and if you go there between 9am and 1pm you will be hard pressed to find a seat inside. However, when the weather is warmer you can sit outside in their outdoor seating area. Tbey just recently remodeled this store and gave it a more updated look but tbey still have the same problem of being a busy store and being small. I wish they would have added a larger coffee fixing bar because only two people at a time can use it and it gets backed up and you have to wait in line to add cream and sugar to your coffee. Also, they should have someone checking the dining area more often when its busy because the tables are always dirty, and most of the time the trash receptacles on the drink station are overflowing with trash and tbe overflow falls onto the station countertop where you fix your drinks...dirty napkins, spilled drinks, loose sugar, dirty coffee stirers, etc. I know its busy but there is no excuse for it...hire more people if need be. On the positive side, the staff at the store are always friendly and accommodating. I have never had a problem with any drink or food I have ordered there. When its busy you may have to wait a little longer for your order, but its obvious that they are working as best they can to get customers...

I’ve been going to this Starbucks location for the past 10+ years and on average spend $400-$500 a month with this company for the past 2 years. Let me tell you this location has become the W O R S T. They have some good experienced baristas that will consistently make your drink delicious just how it should be, and some that just flat out suck and make drinks taste different every single time. The real problem with this location is THE WAIT. Oh my god the wait. If you place a MOBILE ORDER, you’ll still be waiting 30 minutes for your drink. Ive watched countless people come in, wait in a long line, and then walk out with a coffee while my mobile order coffee is 20 minutes behind it’s scheduled time? It is truly unfathomable and infuriating how bad this Starbucks is at time management. They have absolutely no idea how to prioritize mobile orders or get drinks out together. If your thinking of stopping here on your way to work, DON’T, YOU ARE ALMOST GUARANTEED TO BE LATE. ONLY ORDER HERE IF YOU HAVE A SPARE 30 MINUTES TO WAIT FOR A DRINK.
