If I could give zero stars.
Today, when I went to the front of the line to order a sandwich, The sandwich artist was picking his eye with his bare finger. He was really deep in his eye picking at it until he noticed me. Then he stopped and reached for the gloves to put it on. I asked him to wash his hands first before he could serve me, and he stared at me as if it was the hardest throng to do. And when he saw that I wasn’t backing down, he went to go washed his hands. Funny enough this isn’t the first time this happened, another day way before this one, i stood in a long line where there was only one sandwich artist. The other sandwich artists were on a smoking break outside. When the workers outside realized the line was not going down, they came back inside to help and began to put on their gloves. At first I was relieved until one of the ladies in line point out that they were just outside smoking, so they should WASH THEIR HANDS before coming to serve us. The guy stared at her like it was the hardest thing to do and how dare she tell him to do that. He shared that look with his coworkers, and then did proceeded to wash his hands.
Since they automatically reach for their gloves after touching their dirty bodies, the dirty door handles from outside and from smoking—I wonder if they even wash their hands when they use the bathroom. Totally disrespectful to the paying customers and to the company that they work for because I know very well that Subway—as well as any other food establishments require all their employees to wash their hands when they do of the previously mentioned and more. I also have worked in food service and I know this to be a fact. Disgusting. I will not eat at this particular location again for the sake of my stomach. Also, today after I told the worker to wash his hands after touching his eye, he handled my sandwich in such a rough manner that the sandwich didn’t look right. And I have eaten at other subways before and this hasn’t happened before.
I think I will be. Reporting this to better business bureau when...
Read moreI decided to go online and do a complaint since I got no response from the online complaint form that I did several times, and no one answers the phone when you call the Campus Way South location. I did a online order and got a watery tuna sub and the ultimate BMT, which is supposed to have more meat, and of course was lacking meat, but had more than adequate toppings. I've also seen several complaints about this location on the next door app talking about the area where they add meat on the sandwiches is now unavailable to see because of some type of cover or shield. I have not been to any location since my last order. I was so displeased, so I have been going to patronize other sub shops, Jersey Mike's and Charley's. They are further away but I would rather go the distance and be satisfied with what I'm going to eat and what I'm spending my money on. Evidently no one is coming and inspecting these locations on a regular basis and I guess they are probably made aware of when they are coming, so they are probably on their best behavior, because the personalities and rudeness make you not want to go back. Hopefully the right people are reading our reviews. This subway location definitely needs...
Read moreI wish that I could avoid giving any stars at all.... my experience at this location was awful. I was a patron here about 3 weeks ago. The air conditioner must have been broken because it was stifling hot. They posted a hand-written sign that said "Don't touch anything" on the glass enclosure to the cheese....... not professional. The staff members were very rude. I understand the hot conditions that they were working in; however, they were obviously getting frustrated with customers, and had an overall poor attitude. When I walked up to pay for my order, I asked if I was charged for the meal like I requested, and the staff member rolled his eyes, and then walked away from me. Needless to say, I took my sandwich and purchased a drink at the Target across the street. Everyone is not able to endure stressful situations, and the poor overheated conditions likely took a toll on the young man ; HOWEVER, if you're on the clock, it is your duty to represent your business properly. I give my...
