Stomach Pains !!!!

There's something about this location that gives my son (13 years old now) severe stomach pains. At first I thought it was just an unexpected stroke of luck, but each and every time we ended up with the same results. Thing is, my son LOVES Ledo. And we've been eating at this location for years with no issues; until last year.

So over a course of year we conducted a food test experiment. Selected weekends so that he'd have a chance to recover in time for school. Experiments spanned 3 months apart starting last winter/spring around this time. Would order a small cheese pizza either Friday night or Saturday from the Largo location, and sure enough...severe stomach cramps within 3-6 hours. Same experiment at other Ledo locations in PG and MoCo, and not a single issue at these Ledo locations. Hadn't tried any Ledo's in DC yet. Papa Johns: no issue. Dominos: no issue. Pizza Bolis: no issue. Vocelli: no issue. 1000 degrees: no issue. For my birthday last October, we flew to Rome and Florence Italy and was reluctant to try pizza for him since we were on vacay. We rolled the dice, ordered pizza, and thankfully he had no issues. In fact, eating pizza over there makes me never want to eat pizza in the States EVER again! but that's a whole 'nother review, lol.

I reached out to the Ledo corporate offices and told them my dilemma and asked if they had received any other customers complaining of the same issue, or if this location changed ingredients. Will Robinson, VP of Marketing and Innovation, emailed back and apologized for the mishap and told me this location hadn't changed their ingredients.

Until this is corrected, we unfortunately can't eat at this location nor give it 5 stars anymore. What's even worse, my son now goes to a private school and they just informed them that Pizza Friday's will now be sourced from, guess where? Yep...Ledo from Largo, MD. This totally sucks unfortunately. Trying to appeal to the school to buy from a different location so my son can enjoy pizza Friday's with his friends instead of spending Friday night hugging the toilet bowl.

I went here after placing an online order. I’ve been to this location before and never had issues previously. But this particular time when I went to go pick up my order, they stated they needed to see my ID to confirm it was my order. Because I wasn’t aware of this new policy until I got in the store I didn’t have my ID nor was I going back to my car to get it because I had my child with me who the pizza was for. I wasn’t expecting to have an identity check just to pick up my pizza. Once I stated I didn’t have my ID they told me they needed to call my phone instead. What doesn’t make sense is they could’ve of simply looked at the online transaction receipt that I was showing them from my phone. They refused to do that. They were very persistent in wanting to call my phone just confirm I’m the right person picking up my order. When he saw my phone number that was listed on the receipt was not ringing they refused me my pizza because according to them they could not identify who I was. My phone was on silent so I wasn’t aware at that moment of why I didn’t see the store number calling. I’m assuming they’ve had people in the past stealing orders. When I showed them the number they were calling from showing in my call log they still refused my pizza that was already paid for!!! But somehow when I asked for my refund they were very willing to give me my refund without asking for the same ID they needed for me picking up my pizza. They didn’t mention calling my phone to confirm who I was to make sure they were giving money back to the right person who ordered. . That made no sense! I reached out to corporate the same day and I have yet to...

I stop going there because the first time I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken They asked me which dressing and I said it's a Caesar salad casear dressing. The next time I ordered the same. when I got there, they told me my order wasn't ready. I set there for 10 minutes. Watching them walk around and not even checking to see if my food was there finally the young lady check to see if my food was ready and it was sitting on a counter the whole time. They ignored it. Then the next time I ordered a pizza came to pick it up they told me it was not ready. I sat there and watch them walk around. Look at the pizza. The guy checked the order. And I was there for 20 minutes when they finally check. And it was under another name and the pizza was sitting on the shelf. I believe they purposely did that because they knew who I was. Once again I ordered 2 Caesar salad with grilled chicken one with extra chicken. I got there to get my order. They told me it wasn't ready so I'll purposely. Wait to see how long it would take them to give me my order. And I saw a bag with 2 caesar salad sitting on the counter They never checked it. I sat there and waited 20 minutes and watched them walk passed it before they finally grabbed the bag and gave me my order. This is a follow-up to reviews I made here about Ledo's pizza. The owner contacted me. Ask me to email her that email does not work. I've tried calling the number in Annapolis, and that number is disconnected. So I don't know...
