sweetFrog Premium Frozen Yogurt — Restaurant in Maryland

I love sweet frog however this is to the owner/manager of this franchise, not giving your employees the electronic tips is ILLEGAL. I’ve been in restaurant management for 13 years & a chef for 3, I know for certain that this is illegal. I also looked into the terms of sweet frog franchisees regarding this and it is up to each franchise to adhere to laws and regulations even regarding tips; policies may vary by location but the labor laws are above that so you can’t just not give them their credit tips just because you don’t want to.

It doesn’t matter if “your store is under 20 employees” and whatever other excuses you’re telling the kids you’re employing.

If anyone goes here PLEASE TIP THE EMPLOYEES IN CASH if you want to tip them because the owner doesn’t allow them to have their electronic tips. I personally won’t go here anymore unless I find that this has been changed and the employees are being treated fairly.

I didn’t know this was going on so when I came here to say something I read back and there was a comment 9 months ago saying the same thing so it’s BEEN happening.

Get it together and stop taking advantage of your employees. I guarantee you take the money and put it towards the processing fees of every credit transaction AND/OR put it towards their hourly to save money.

Regardless of what you do with their tips it’s illegal and unethical so I will no longer spend money here unless this changes, I hope others do the same and I hope your employees go to the chipotle that is advertising hiring literally...

Had not been to a Sweet Frog before but we wanted something sweet and cold on a very hot day/night. Stopped at about 9 pm; store closIng at 10 pm. One employee was removing the drip trays, not particularly apologetically in the way of two old people trying to see flavors and figure out the process. A bit early but maybe Wednesday nights are slow. Nope! Watched close to 25 people come in by 9:30 pm. One young man (@ 4 y.o.) was so excited he hopped to the store from the parking lot. The yogurt was good. Spent way too much but enjoyed...

Sweet Frog offers 8 no-sugar-added choices. This location has 19 flavors available but ALL have added sugar. Over 15% of the population in this area are diabetic, and you do not welcome us. Very sad because the place was clean and the toppings selections looked very inviting. I asked the young man working, and he said they never have no sugar added options. I won't be back until...
