After ordering a meal, at the drive-through, for my wife, I attempted to order something for myself. I was told by the order taker that vegetarian meals could only be ordered online. At the pick up window, the store manager confirmed the statement, made by order taker. I was confused, as I have ordered vegetarian meals at Taco Bell pick-up windows, up and down the East Coast, for years. However, in this instance, I was instructed to place the order online and wait five to eight minutes (according to the app), and then return to the window. Being unfamiliar with that ordering option, I asked the manager if ordering on line would place the order with her and she said it would. I pulled into a parking space, placed the order, and waited. While doing so, I noticed that a store other than the one in question had received the order and payment. I went inside to speak with the "manager", who took no responsibility for the bad information. She was rude and disrespectful. She demonstrated poor customer service skills. Most importantly, for me, she served as a horrible example for the crew with the misfortune to serve under her, so called, leadership.
Having spent some time in my life, working in various Customer Service situations, I certainly understand that in the profession, no matter the level or environment, the days can be long and arduous. For that reason, when I have encountered less than pleasant challenges due to less than pleasant treatment from supposedly trained Customer Service Professionals, I have only asked that they are reminded of the core of their mission and that, as the situation warrants, they be retrained.
I spoke with the Corporate Customer Service Office about this incident and shared my unpleasant experience. In breaking with my usual approach, I didn't suggest retraining for the grossly unprofessional manager. Neither did I suggest that she should be terminated. Although, I am not convinced that she...
Read moreEveryone knows what to expect from a Taco Bell in general, but regarding food quality, preparation and courtesy & friendliness of team members, this is, BY FAR, the BEST Taco Bell I have visited, which has been numerous times through my 17 years since moving back to the Baltimore area. I actually have lived in several locations in and around the area, each of which with a more convenient Taco Bell location nearby. Some of these have been fine, others lacking; but through my work assignments I was fortunate to run across this location years ago. As I've already mentioned, THIS is my go-to Taco Bell, and I will drive out of my way to go to this particular restaurant.
Anyone who is familiar with this Taco Bell will know that the drive-thru is steady busy throughout each day. Come on a Friday or Saturday night, and you will likely join the line all the way back to Rossville Blvd. But don't hold that against them; we are the customers who are lining-up, and for good reason as I've indicated.
And don't fret a "long" line here either, because as I mentioned the service is very prompt and you will wait longer in other fast food lines elsewhere that have only 1-2 cars ahead of you. That's happened to me several times, where I will enter this drive-thru WAY AT THE BACK and very quickly I will have advanced to the ordering process. Not long after, I am at the window receiving my order and rolling out! It must be why the drive-thru remains so steady -- all others waiting in line at this TB know what I know.
Anyway...this is a very well run Taco Bell with some great workers who do their very best to get the job done, and it shows! Thank you, Taco Bell on Rossville Blvd,...
Read moreIf I could give this restaurant zero stars I would first of all they have a manager who’s over 45 years old who couldn’t manage to replace my pinto and cheese order without making me wait 20 minutes and STILL DIDNT REPLACE IT BECAUSE I LEFT SO MY OTHER FOOD WOILDBT BE GROSs. the managers name was Dwight he was extremely rude he asked me to move up to the front because I was holding up his line and then proceeded to never come outside to correct my order that was wrong. I then went inside and there were two young kids one white kid and one black kid who told me we’re busy right now there’s nothing we can do. Then the white boy came outside and started smoking a cigarette a minute after he told me that they were so extremely busy that they couldn’t help me. And these are the people who want $15 an hour to mess your order up and to give you an attitude. That manager should be fired over $2 pintos and cheese because any real manager would of made the item over really quick and moved on. And I usually do not take my time to write reviews but in this case I just think the audacity was at an all-time high there was literally seven workers just sitting around staring at me doing nothing and they’re telling me they’re too busy to help me and to just look at my receipt and make the the...
