Aurora Seafood &Grill Buffet — Restaurant in Overlea

Let me start by saying I'm not a fan of buffets. When I heard it was more like sushi and other Asian food, I wasn't excited. Not because it was Asian because I love food of all cultures. But I have been waiting for this place to open because I'm thinking good old Maryland seafood, crab cakes, fries catfish, steamed fish, cornbread, Mac and cheese.. you know southern seafood. I was really disappointed. Oh they had the usual fried fish, wingettes, French fries and even mac and cheese but it's a no for me. The fried fish was my favorite and the rolls. They did have habichi and hot pots but I was not in the mood for those. The Asian food I had lo main and general tsos chicken was good. The worse was the corn bread it was very hard. My notes to the owners is that corn bread is supposed to be warm and moist.. never cut it and separate, leaves it in the pan . Also I'm a big dessert girl and the choices were not great. They did have an ice cream freezer but there was not anything I wanted. This is not even a dig at the restaurant or staff they were awesome. It's just not what I wanted or...

Let me begin with this place is not worth your money I'm only giving one star because I have to If I could give no star I would. My family and I went there yesterday to celebrate our grandson's birthday my daughter checked the reviews and everyone left great reviews well to our complete disappointment this place is the absolute worst place I've ever eaten at before. Let me begin with the hibachi cooks they didn't care how the food was prepared slapped it on the flat top didn't even cut up the meat no effort went into the cooking of the hibachi foods basically it looked like it wasn't fit to eat , every station was horrible down to the fresh fruit, they had grapes and they didn't taste like grapes the pineapples were disgusting even the kids didn't enjoy anything there . The cost is higher on the weekend which I wouldn't complain if the food was atleast decent this place is absolutely a hard no I would never return there again I suggest if you're looking for a all you can eat place go somewhere else this place is not worth it. The food selection here is amazing and that's where it ends. I have been here 6 times since they opened and all 6 times the server was horrible. Very unattentive and the last guy, this past Friday made sure he completely avoided our table. He walked the long way avoiding us every time he walked by. Charm city buffet is cheaper, and the service is far far better. I never have to ask for my drink to be refilled there . This past visit to this place the soda machines were out of carbonation and they didn't tell anyone before they ordered their drinks. It was awful. The people working the hibachi are rude and one of them told me to shut up. I asked if the chicken was seasoned because it looked red, he banged his spatula on the chicken and said here. Maybe ice needs to stop by if they can't even speak English. The kitchen staff is rude and they will stand in your way talking to each other instead of working, and will run you over. 6 visits here and every time I said something about the staff. This shows you they don't care. I'm taking my business back...
