Last nights experience was absolutely horrible at your restaurant. We had a 6PM reservation and had to wait to be seated until our entire party arrived by 6:10pm. When we were finally seated, it took a while for a waiter to take our order. Once he took our order we did get our salads and soup but not our drinks. A long time passed and we saw that our drinks had been sitting on the bar for quite some time! We had to ask again and a server finally brought us our drinks. Our sushi and apps came out a while later but then nothing. It got later and later and we still did not have a chef to cook our food. The time was 7:20 and we still did not have a chef! The table that sat down right before us had already had their food cooked, they ate, they paid, and they left, and we still had nothing. Close to 7:30 a chef was finally sent over to us a full hour and a 1/2 later from our arrival. At that point we needed our checks and we had to go as we had reservations at a rage room at 8pm. We refused the chef and sent him away. We demanded our checks and to speak to the manager several times. The manager never came to our table to talk to us. The waiter said he would not charge us for our sushi roll so he took it off the check. Then we saw that he had added an 18% gratuity! We said absolutely not, we are not tipping for this horrible service and demanded that he remove it. He removed it and added the sushi roll back on. We were so irritated at that point that we just paid it and left. This was my husband’s birthday dinner and it was completely ruined by your horrible and incompetent staff. We will never again be coming to your establishment as this was the worst dining experience of our lives. Horrible service. We left around 7:40pm and never had most of the food that we ordered. We bought the Groupon for this place and decided to check it out. The place looked nice from inside as we walked in but that was the only good moment we had.
HORRIBLE SERVICE EXPERIENCE: The service was really bad. We had to wait 5 mins to be seated and another 15 mins for the waitress to come get out order. And meanwhile this other waitress came and TOOK away all our sauces bottles because she had to REFILL them and mind me there was still 1 hour left in closing. So somebody finally came to take our order and upon asking about the groupon she said its only valid for meal even though it didn't say anything like that on the groupon itself. Also, none of the vegetarian option was available for sushi entree meal so ultimately the groupon was waste. Upon asking if the miso was vegetarian, the waitress had difficulty in understating the English and couldn't confirm so. At this point, I was to hungry to argue so we I ordered the regular sushi while my husband got his Hibachi. We had to wait another 25 mins for our food. I mean how long it takes to ensemble 3 sushi rolls. and then we had to ask for the soy sauce because all our bottles were snatched earlier.
FOOD: After all that long wait I could have eaten any decent food but that wasn't the case. The seaweed tates foul and the ingredients weren't fresh either. Th sweet potato roll came up with eel sauce even after me asking multiple times if everything is vegetarian! Thankfully the other waitress was able to confirm that before I ate it and then it was another 10 mins wait for the roll. The waitress was not apologetic neither the manager.

Read moreOn 3/30/23 my husband and I placed an online order to be delivered from Sake as we had family over to celebrate my birthday. We have ordered multiple times from Sake so we know what to expect of our usual order, we ordered some different types of sushi as we always do in additional to our meals. When our food was delivered we got Sashimi instead of the Sushi we ordered. I called Sake to inform them of the error and they were adamant that they did not make a mistake and did not want to remedy their error. They only wanted to help if I drove there and brought the food back which I simply asked for a credit on the app in which we ordered, I explained I ordered for delivery for a reason and would not be driving out over $20 worth of food and didn't feel what could easily been remedied warranted having to have my birthday gathering interupted. My husband ended up calling back and again explained the error and asked for a manager which the woman on the phone would not allow him to speak to and rudely told him the error was our fault (seriously how is an error in making food the customers fault when we have proof of what we ordered via the app and our reciept and know the difference between sushimi and sushi?). I realize errors happen and it may not seem like a huge issue but when spending over $160 on food I would expect any establishment would want to make sure the customer is happy and satisfied with their food and service received, which we are not. The portion of lobster meat in our main dishes was almost non existent as well, we got the shell of the lobster tail but only 3 small pieces of meat (where did the rest of the meat go?).
