Thai Palace in Waldorf really deserves some love. First off, the family environment is what keeps us coming back. It’s super laid-back, clean, and welcoming. We’ve brought our kids a few times and never felt out of place or rushed. Whether you're going out for a casual dinner or celebrating something special, the atmosphere here just feels warm and inviting.
Now, let’s talk about the customer service, it’s honestly some of the best I’ve experienced in the area. The staff are always polite, attentive, and just genuinely kind. They check in often without hovering, and they really take time to explain the menu or offer recommendations. I once asked about a dish being made less spicy for my kid, and not only did they make it just right they came back to ask how it turned out. That kind of care says a lot.
I also really appreciate how accommodating everyone is. You can tell the people here care about their customers and want them to have a good time, no matter their needs.
And of course the food is amazing. Every dish we’ve tried has been full of flavor, fresh, and cooked perfectly. My personal favorites are the chicken pad Thai, the spring rolls, and chicken wings. You can taste that everything’s made with care, not just thrown together.
If you're looking for a spot in Waldorf that’s great for families, has awesome food, and treats you like more than just another customer, give Thai Palace a try. You won’t regret it.
I would also like to shoutout Tam. She’s a great hostess...

This was the second time me and my husband went to the Thai Palace recently. Things weren't the same. I suspected this might happen when I learned my favorite waitress wasn't there anymore. I've been a regular for some time so I don't want to give up to fast but yesterday confirmed things have changed. Not only did Nisa leave but several others did too. I was told one of the cooks left also. I'm not discouraging anyone from trying this place. Just updating my review.
7 months ago I found this place back in 2009 when I first moved to the area. I longed for some Thai food, specifically, spicy fish and rice. It was my favorite at the time. I was from California and didn't know where to go. I looked up the Thai Palace and they delivered all the way to my home in Clinton. I've been eating there every since. It is one of my favorite spots to enjoy a date night with my husband.
The food has always been great! I love the Thai iced tea! The service is great and friendly. Nisa knows our favorite dishes by heart and she makes us feel like VIPs'. Ate there tonight. Looking forward to...
Read moreI used to love this place and now, not so much. I moved here from NY about 2 years ago and I've been coming to this place off and on for about the same time. At the beginning the food and portions were perfect. Now, for some reason something is different/off. Price does not match the portions, and the food is not consistent. The quality of the food has gone down. Maybe they got a new vendor to save money. I just don't know. It seems like there is a change in management and/or the cook/chef. Service is a hit or miss. Sometimes it good and sometimes bad. It depends on the server. One time my drink had been empty for about 15 minutes before the server checked on me. The server was not rude. She just took a long time to check on me. Please address these issues. I love Thai food and I would like for this restaurant to return to what they...
