Costa Azul — Restaurant in Maryland

Ok, 2nd stop by here was much better. No loud speaker blasting music at 6 pm on a Saturday night. We got seated right away all of the food was excellent. Definitely stop by and try them out. I have been wanting to try this place out for a while. The menu is a little different than the usal food. I was very surprised at how great this food was. We got seated right sway. The server was very nice and attentive. There is a good selection of different Mexican and seafood dishes here. For the appetizer, we got the shrimp and fries in sauce.They have a hot and cold appetizer menu here. I got the grilled fish and loved it. She got the pineapple dish with shrimp,octopus, and crab. It was fantastic. All the food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. There is a large selection of hot sauces to choose from on the table. All that food at a great price. It's probably the best quality and quantity for food i have had in a long time. They have a beautiful bar that is well stocked with everything. The only downside was they had a super loud speaker blasting music inside. It makes it very hard to have conversion. No one was sitting by the speaker. It was a bit much at 6 pm on a Saturday night. My family celebrated my sister's 60th birthday, at Costa Azul on Saturday. We had never eaten there, and I'm SO GLAD that we chose Costa Azul. Juan, both the Manager and our waiter for the evening did a remarkable job of juggling and multitasking his responsibilities.

He was so kind as to clear a different table for my family to use. I watched him [and coworkers] prepare a new table. After everyone arrived, Juan quickly took our drink orders. I had no idea what to order, asked Juan for recommendations; he suggested the vegan pineapple!!!! Perfect choice and I closed my eyes sometimes while eating it as that is how I enjoy my food. Everyone enjoyed their food; portion sizes were very generous.

Juan was unbelievably attentive! He catered to our every need, never complained and with so much grace. We enjoyed the karaoke!! My sister was personally serenaded by the very talented singer that entertained us all. The restaurant sang Happy Birthday to her! My sister and my family fully enjoyed our experience!!

Me and coworkers come here almost every other day. The food is typically good. But the service is almost always very passive and rude. As if they don’t want us here. It’s ONE young lady that gives us great service every time. They sit us with a Spanish waiter that speaks very little English and gets the order wrong every time but looks at us as if we’ve done something wrong. When it’s just a language barrier which isn’t that serious. The owner/slash manager I’m not sure but he has the same exact vibe when we come as well. They greet other customer with joy and hospitality. They say nothing to us when we arrive. We tip based on our experience and always there is never a thank you come again nothing. For us to choose this place to spend our hard earned money during lunch and we are treated so low. Today will be the last day we return. Food is good but even that depends on how they feel about you ! We can feel And since the bad vibes from you all.
