I REALLY hate to be giving this place such a low rating. I'll first start by saying I've been eating at Toppings since I was in elementary school and I am 30 years old. My dad used to work for the previous owner. I LOVE this place. Recently I traveled 30 minutes and visited, unaware that the owner left. The experience was so different and not in a good way. They apparently don't offer the dine in 18" anymore, but when we ordered it they took our order and said nothing about it. Then gave us a 16" pizza. I went to the counter and said I ordered the 18" dine in. The young boy behind the counter said that the pizza I had was 16" but it's pretty much the same thing as 18" because they are both large. I told him that I still wanted what I ordered and payed for. He said that the 16" and 18" were the same price but offered me a free fry. Then when I noticed that I got charged more than normal I went and talked to the owner (presumed) who took my order. I explained the situation and he said that there was no 18" even though he took the order! I told him it was a dine in item that Ken offered (old owner). He seemed very irritated and said that Ken hadn't been here in years, they didn't have an 18" and then handed me a menu and basically dismissed me. My husband and I were shocked. The pizza was much smaller than normal and cost more. AND he skimped on the toppings drastically. One of the things we have always loved about Toppings is the TOPPINGS and how they load them on. He charged us for 2 toppings and put barely any on the pizza. So.....higher prices, skimpy toppings, rude owner, and kids who don't even know what the resteraunt serves. Changes made with no indications for long time customers, so it causes confusion. The remodel is awsome! The place looks great. But there is no welcoming vibe. Everyone is standoffish. I felt so uncomfortable the whole time. We used to get such personable service. The workers and owner knew you and what you were going to order before you even got to the counter. So sad that I don't feel comfortable going back to one of my favorite childhood...
Read moreI eat here often. The owner and staff are friendly, and the food is excellent. I just had the small meatball sub lunch special with fries and a drink. They offer a large version also for when you're really hungry. I added some additional pictures of other items I've eaten: Two slices and drink lunch special, small cheese steak lunch special, and the lasagna dinner.
10-09-2022 update: I stopped in tonight for carry out, and I found out they now have fried mushrooms!
I ordered a large supreme, old bay wings, onion rings, and mushrooms.
All restaurants are facing 40 percent or higher food costs from distributors and rising employment costs due to worker competition. Many businesses have cut corners to help absorb the costs, but it Toppings! The food is still excellent! One of the things I appreciate about the owner is he loves quality food and refuses to cut corners!

Melania cooked the wings, mushrooms, and onion rings. She’s an EXCELLENT cook! (You should taste the cheesesteaks she makes!). And Nunzio still makes the best pizza!
If you’re trying to decide where to get your Italian food or pizza and wings you owe it to yourself to try Toppings!

Read moreJust went here for the first time today after a recommendation from a coworker and I was not disappointed! The Shrimp Scampi pizza was absolutely delicious! I think it is one of my most favorite pizzas I've ever had! I love the smaller pizza restaurants where you can find unique toppings like that (Il Forno's Shrimp Alfredo pizza is also very delicious). I also ordered some mozzarella sticks, garlic bread with cheese and the mac and cheese wedges just to try a bit of them and they were all very good, as well. They were more standard that you can find other places, but the PIZZA!! YUM!! I am definitely willing to try some of the other unique recipes (if I can ever convince myself to not get the shrimp scampi one) and I want to try the subs! I'm glad it's close to work for something different when I get a craving for it (I love Ledo's, but it's a little far from my work and MOD I think is too expensive for what you get considering the size and thickness of the pizza, even if you get a ton of toppings, so if I'm going to spend that much, I'd rather have a bigger and thicker pizza like from Toppings).
