Picked up a to go order Saturday morning. There was at least 5 people picking up. The table was loaded with orders. There was a cashier , hostess and a third person standing around. They asked us the name and never went to the table to hand us the orders and they were ready. I stood there for 15 minutes. A manager named Diego was also coming back in forth. I asked him to please give me my order. He rudely snatched the bag off the table and handed it to me. I commented to him that I had been there 15 minutes and the food was there the whole time. That it was surely cold. He quickly told me in very broken english, "Don't complain and don't come back there no more." There was multiple families waiting to be seated that heard him. Two of those families walked out. This place was incredibly unorganized and you could tell they truly do not want to busy. Diego I realize your struggling with English. That is no excuse being a horrible manager and having pitiful customer service skills. Update: IHOP reached out to me after last review. I wanted to be able to report a better experience. No such luck. Went on Tuesday when kids eat free. Come to find out they eat free everyday. At least according to the huge advertising sign in their window. When the bill was cashed out they did not deduct the kids meal. We were told that,"OH we don't do that unless you request it upon ordering. How shady is that ? Shame on you IHOP ! Let me make a suggestion youbshould advertise in coupon form if your going to play those...
Read moreI decided to order pick up. I chose the value menu for the Breakfast Faves Combo. I arrived at the establishment a few minutes after the time that was listed in my email. I talk to the young man at the front office and tell him that I had an order for pick up. He goes in the kitchen and proceeds to be kitchen for about 5 minutes, which I found odd because my food is supposed to ready. He comes back gives me my food, I briefly check the bag to make sure all of the items were there, and got in my car. I was hungry so I went into the bag to grab a piece of bacon before I left. While doing so I touched one of the pancakes, which I could have chiseled a rock with because of hard it was. Literally rock hard. I instantly knew that the pancakes they gave me had been sitting out for a while. I also noticed that the pancake wasn’t the original buttermilk but rather one with sprinkles in it. I’m a bit agitated at this point as I go back in and talk to the young man again. I explain the issue at hand and show my receipt of the order. He goes towards the kitchen, talks to another coworker then goes into the kitchen for a 1-2 minutes. He comes back and explains to a lady, that I’m assuming was the manager or shift lead, and tells her what happened. They then go to the kitchen for a few minutes. The young man returns with 2 fresh pancakes. I say thank you and walk out. I’m very disappointed as it was my first time going to this particular establishment. They will no longer receive...
Read moreWe were here 8 days ago and it was great, but today was awful.
We were seated immediately, and the iced tea was good. That's the good points.
The Coke that my wife got was so weak it looked like very weak ginger ale. The waitress said it had been like that since she came to work. I asked if she'd said anything to anyone that could change the syrup, and got a noise & shoulder shrug in reply.
We waited 32 minutes after we ordered before we left. While we were waiting we realized we didn't have napkins and flatware. That's not a good sign. Then people at another table complained about cold food and had to go hunting for ketchup on other tables.
After the 32 minutes of waiting without being checked on we decided not to chance the food. I asked an employee for a manager before we left. While waiting for the manager I noticed all of this food not going out to tables. The manager was too busy to come speak to us, so we walked out.
Now we're trying the other IHOP in town. They're off to a much...
