This is the worst fast food restaurant. Today I'd officially the last time I ever go to a Wendy's. Today is the second time I am gone to this Wendy's at 1028am to 1030 am they have no breakfast items. I get that you don't want to waste items but offer to make it if I am willing to wait. I got there on time. Poor business model.. Next visit 07/21/2021 I arrived at this location at 10:25am. Wanting a breakfast item. I was told they are no longer serving breakfast. This is the 4th time in the 6 months I have been told this. When I asked since when cause the sign says till 1030. The young lady told me that's just today. I said oh so what days do yall serve Breakfast till 1030. She said just she didn't know. I said hmm. Is the manager available? There was a silence, then I was told they were not available. I drive up to the window to wait for the manager cause I was told the door was closed. David, a middle aged Caucasian male. Came to the window. I explained my issue. He said he don't why the young lady told Me that (I found interesting) cause breakfast is till 1030. He gives me a long list as to why they stop serving breakfast at 1025. And then he said he is not required to serve Breakfast till 1030 because they need to switch to lunch. I asked for his name and the name of the young lady. He told me she wss a minor and he only provided his name. I advised him I was on the line with Corporate at which point he escalated. And said he was doing me a favor by giving the item. I told him he is not doing me any favor. I said well what you need to do... and he became even more escalated. I will admit I was wrong and I told him that. I corrected myself and said what I will do is stay on this time cause he is very rude and i needed clarification on this 1030/ 1025 issue. He even went as far as putting his whole upper half of his body through the drive thu window. What makes all of this even more interesting is he walks away dropping F bombs and saying that well we will serve Breakfast till 1030 from now. verbal abuse to me a consumer and his subordinates. Read moreI went to Wendy's last night around 9:55 pm. I drove up to the drive thru. I waited 40 secs before i stated hello. The drive thru worker was laughing with the car that was at the window and asked me to hold on. She didn't assist me for another 3 minutes. I finally placed my order and proceeded to the window. I was behind the red car that was still at the window laughing with the drive thru worker who is a minor by the way. The car in front didn't leave for another 4 mins after receiving their food. I proceeded to the window and paid for my food. I was given my drinks, Another lady came to the window and tried to hand me another set of drinks and i told her i already received my drinks. I waited and waited. The manger who had a scarf on her head... walked up to the women her were assisting me and said " She's a minor, she shouldn't be in my dinning room nor should she be taking orders" The women that tried to hand me drinks for the second time tried to reason with the manager and the manager just kept saying "no she needs to get off the drive thru she's a minor" I proceeded to stare at what was going on in front of me because the drive thru window was still opened. When the lady that tried to serve me drinks saw me, she shut the window in front of me after a minute of me listening to a uncomfortable conversations. I waited another 10 minutes for my food. There was a truck behind me that waited 10 minutes to order and receive their food after me. I was finally being passed my food at 10:25 pm and when i checked my food, I WAS MISSING A BURGER i told the lady i've been waiting 15 minutes just for my food and i'm missing a burger? She said hold on, went and got my burger, handed it to me, and then closed the drive thru window. I LOVE WENDY'S but this location sucks and i won't be back AT ALL. I never got my receipt and that was probably done on purpose because i was definitely going to call corporate and leave a review with them like i am now. Ya’ll see the reviews below me. Read moreI have been a frequent customer of this Wendy’s location for many years, and I’ve always found it to be clean with generally good service. However, my recent experience on October 12, 2024, was extremely disappointing.
When I placed my order, I was asked for my name, which has never happened to me at this or any other Wendy’s. Having been a loyal customer of Wendy’s since the 1980s, I found this unusual. When I politely declined to provide my name, the cashier became visibly upset and told me I would not be able to place or receive my order without giving a name. She then stated she would just assign me a random name, to which I responded that doing so would not be appropriate.
After paying for my order and showing my military ID card, I was surprised to see that the cashier had not applied the military discount. When I questioned her about the discrepancy, a male staff member aggressively approached the counter, calling me names and telling me to leave the store. At that point, I no longer felt safe and requested a refund, explaining that I no longer trusted the staff to prepare my food. My request was ignored, and the male employee continued to verbally harass me, attempting to provoke an argument.
To avoid a confrontation, I exited the store and contacted the Harford County Sheriff’s Office. Upon the arrival of Sheriff K. Anderson, he was able to assist me in receiving my refund after a brief discussion.
This experience was disturbing, and I no longer feel comfortable dining at this Wendy’s. In today’s world, it is unfortunate that something as simple as declining to give a name for an order could lead to such hostility from staff. I also recently learned that this location is for sale, listed at $2.4 million. Good luck with that, considering the low sales and the way staff is driving away long-term customers.
I won’t be returning to this location.
