Wendy's — Restaurant in Maryland

Two stars for the simple fact that the crew seemed on top of cleaning. When I entered the building the employee on the floor sweeping came up to the counter and said "for here or to go?" Off putting considering I didn't get a hello but ok, I'm not that particular anyway. I pointed out she seemed unhappy I came into the restaurant but her face softened and she said no it was fine. That at least helped ease a little of the discomfort I felt entering the building. Unfortunately the food was very unappealing besides the fries and that may because I happened to be lucky enough to order when a fresh batch had just been dumped into the area they keep them for prep. My hamburger was dry as could be and the bun equally disappointing with staleness. We all know fast food places don't toast buns so you can imagine how I felt biting into a "crunchy" texture. The meat itself appeared strangely light, almost white. To top it all off my nuggets were stale as well with an added flavor of plastic aftertaste. I feel the nuggets may have been removed with a plastic utensil fresh out of the frialator for this effect as that is usually the culprit. That's never happened to me at a Wendy's before though super odd and disconcerting to say the least. Overall, food at 730... not worth eating. Staff, not particularly inviting. Maybe try this restaurant earlier in the day or cross it off entirely. Still would be a risk of disappointment...

This location literally just had a full rebuild just over a week ago. I went In Thursday and the front entrance looked like they never cleaned it since the contractors turned the keys over, but the staff at the time where decent even though they kept telling me they didn’t have things after I paid for them. Then just 10min ago from the time of the review I left the drive through and was greeted by one of the most rude lady’s I dealt with in awhile, I wasn’t even done speaking and wanted to order more and was interrupted in the middle of speaking and told to pull up I stated I was not finished and I get a sigh and she says “what else you want” in a rude tone. After I get to the window pay and was missing my fry’s and the other lady gets an attitude about giving me them. I got home and they didn’t even make my burger correct I told them I did not want that anything but ketchup and cheese ( allergy’s). I got everything on there and now my wife can’t even eat her food, Not to mention the hair in my nuggets. Who ever did the hiring needs to reevaluated...

This is newly renovated. The dining room looked clean and nice but, after all the time it took to remodel nothing else has changed. Understaffed, long lines to order. Missing things in the self service center like no cups for ketchup, no straw and, limited salt and pepper. The biggest issue was with the new self service soda machine. There was several flavors that were out in the dining room so when mentioned, instead of having someone switch the syrup in the machine we were told well we have it back here and had to wait for them to get it. Also, I really enjoy a chocolate frosty and don't indulge myself very often. Several of the other diner's asked and we were told that all they had was peppermint. I don't understand how they can have 1 flavor but not the other 2. The prices are higher now also. The drive thru line was 1/2 way around the building. People were leaving both the inside waiting line and the drive thru due to the waiting...
