So I’ve worked at chipotle for 8+ years, I worked in a resturantour store at one point and even made it up to apprentice. I’d like to say I was very good at my job however I quit due to management problems with the gmat the time. I understand being short staffed I’ve been there done that too many times to count so I understand the struggle completely. Now I’m pretty disappointment in my experience here today especially with the knowledge of chipotle, being as I worked there for so long. I’ve notice so many things that I know for a fact are in the no no sections of the chipotle world. First off I had notice that employees have necklaces hanging out of their shirts and air pods, that’s right air pods in their ears as they are working these are considered physical contaminants if they were to land in the food. Not only that it is a safety problem if there was an alarm that went off and they didn’t hear it they could get hurt. I then noticed an employee sliding all over the place because he wasn’t wearing non slip shoes, I notice he even almost fell. Now them floor are pretty slick but I could tell they were not non slips. I also proceeded to watch not one, not two, but 3 employees with gloves on handle food then wiped their hands on the back of their pants and then go back to handling food. Did not wash their hands nor change their gloves. Now that’s just disgusting. I’m also disappointed in the fact I didn’t see a single employee smiling or greet anyone. Just stood there and stared at you I didn’t feel welcomed nor did it feel like a friendly environment. The food was good I enjoyed the food except we threw and entire handful of lettuce on my bowl and I didn’t even ask for it 😅 and by the time I went to say something she had the bowl closed up and thrown down the line. And when I got home I noticed I never got the guac I asked for that was sad but mistakes happen I get it completely. A bit more communication from the employee to the customer would be nice too like repeating back the order and such. Just a few things I wanted to point out not even mad just disappointed in seeing how many safety violations not just for customers but the employees as well. It can be dangerous working in a kitchen and thats why there are so many protocols and rules to fallow. I just figured I’d share my experience and hopefully things will turn up for the better for you guys! Keep up the hard work and smile a bit it’s good for you! Don’t give up, practice makes perfect and...
Read moreDouble check your order before you leave if you order pick up.
This whole store has failed. I get it. Things can be busy. Mistakes happen. It's frustrating, but I understand.
I, unfortunately, made it all the way home before I realized what I ordered wasnt inside the bag. Name on the outside was mine, but apparently I got Bill's order on the inside (Sorry, Bill. Maybe you got mine). I highly doubt Bill got my order by the crowd of people waiting in the lobby, some complaining of getting the wrong stuff as well.
That was issue number one. I was frustrated, but again, I understand mistakes happen. When I approached the cashier, I couldn't hear her over the music. After several times saying I couldn't hear her (to which she never spoke any louder each time), I finally hear "Do you have a question?"
I explain that I have the wrong order, to which my name is on the outside but it's not what I ordered.
"Oh..." The cashier takes the bag from me and disappears into the back.
5 minutes later "Bill C?" I sure hope that's not what I just brought back. Hopefully mine will be behind it. Wait some more.
Someone asks me what I'm waiting on. I reiterate my name. "That name sounds familiar." He too disappeared into the back. I see him a few more times walking back and forth in the back.
Other Customers knew I was there, saw how long I waited, and often wished me a "Hope your night gets better."
An hour of my time. AN HOUR! Where I interacted with multiple people, and my issue was never resolved.
I left. I'm a patient person. I try not to be that guy "who makes a scene."
I'm seething, and at most, I got my refund through the Chipotle app.
This entire store failed. It wasn't just one person, but a cascading waterfall of mistakes by the staff.
Maybe it'll be better. Maybe it won't. I won't know. I'm not coming back to...
Read moreI love Chipotle, I have for over 10 years. I've probably gone to at least a dozen different Chipotles over the years. By far, the Marysville Chipotle is the worst Chipotle I've ever been to.
I have been over a dozen times. And more than half of those times, there is something missing. Now, I understand things happen. During a dinner rush you may run out of guac. Happens. But it's a constant gamble when you go. Sometimes they're out of steak, sometimes it's corn, sometimes it's cheese. Cheese. Doesn't that come pre shredded? Don't you just take it from the fridge and put it in a tin?
And when miraculously everything is there, it's still not that good. I was so excited today-- the chicken was fresh, the rice was fresh. And I bite into the burrito, and it tastes like absolutely nothing. Like, not just bland. It was so devoid of flavor that my initial reaction was that I had to go pick up a covid test because I lost my tastebuds.
This review has nothing to do with the nice kids that work there. They have great customer service and are very sweet and efficient. It comes down to it being such a poorly run establishment. Now, after living in Marysville for 6 months and dining at this Chipotle more times that I should have, we've decided that we're going to drive 25 minutes to Dublin when we want it. The gas money and time is worth it when the one that's 3 minutes away is that horrendously bad. I hope management gets their act...
