I had a bad experience with Lambert's, which is reflected in my review for them. This time around, I decided to take my business to Kay Jewelers, and I was not disappointed. I took some watches in to have fresh batteries installed, and was promptly greeted by Sarah. She communicated all the applicable information clearly. Cost for batteries was fair, and the time frame for my watches to be ready and returned were quicker than expected. I then presented Sarah with what I thought might be an impossible task. I had a pinkie ring that was purchased from Kay's in 2000, but I had lost the warranty and receipt for it years ago. I thought this prevented me from getting my ring serviced. Sarah took the time and managed to locate the ring purchase in my late mother's account, and reinstated my warranty. My mother only ever bought her jewelry from Kay's, and had been doing business with them for probably 30 years or so. Amongst all those purchases covering a span of time before everything was done on a computer, Sarah found my ring. I was amazed, and ecstatic. Upon reinstating my warranty, Sarah sent my ring in to be fixed, after Lambert's made it too thin to wear without fear of it breaking. This ring has a lot of sentimental value to me personally. Sarah has won me over and I only ever go to Kay's for all my jewelry related business. I now see why my mom was loyal to them....
Read moreI would give zero stars if that was an option. The employees at the store in Marysville, OH need training in customer service and follow through. After four months of waiting and giving them multiple chances to repair my ring correctly, I finally picked it up and went elsewhere. My custom made mothers/grandmother's ring was cracked and I took it in to repaired and was told it could not be repaired even though it has a lifetime guarantee. Long story short I had to make several follow up calls to check on the status and was finally told my ring was finished. I went to pick it up and it was not right! They had lost stones from the ring. They had to send it out again to replace the lost stones. After this I finally got a phone call from the manager that my ring was ready to pick up. I got to the store and the stones were not in the correct order. This is when I took the ring home and went to a different Kays store to get the stones put in the correct order. I'm hopeful that I will finally get my ring back and it...
Read moreMy wedding rings broke. I brought the rings in to be sent to customer care. They came back and said it couldn’t be repaired and they would give me a credit to put toward a replacement ring. The people at this store seem to all be on a different page. No one knows how to actually do the exchange. I’ve been waiting for information for over 2 1/2 weeks, and have had multiple conversations with the workers. After countless hours, I thought we finally were ready to complete the transaction to get the rings ordered. When I went in to pay for the rings, the other people at the store had to start the whole process over again. If I could get my money back and buy rings somewhere else I would. But unfortunately I’m stuck using Kay. Don’t come to this location unless you like repeating yourself and wasting time.
Update: Angie and Logan were doing their best to fix the situation. They were very professional and apologetic which I really...
