Initial Marco's Pizza impression: 02/02/18 - delivery time 52 minutes (on time as quoted). Pizza - Thin crust, well baked, with Parmesan cheese generously sprinkled around the outside. Inconsistent edges ranging from 1/4 inch to 1 inch. Cheese is outstanding in taste, consistency and portion size. In my opinion, best cheese in the city of Marysville. Sauce was, as requested, light in quantity and left no real impression. I will probably order again with "normal" amount. Cuts were sloppy and varied in size. Actually not a huge deal in this instance, some people in my family wanted a large piece, some wanted a small. Temperature as received was not impressive. the pizza was room temperature (while covered) inside, roughly, 15 minutes. Side note, the picture provided was as received, I didn't drop or shake the pizza on my way to the kitchen. I brought it in and opened the box. Overall Impression - With it's unintrusive crust, the real star of this pizza, the cheese, was allowed to shine. Again, very impressive portion of cheese, and if other toppings are used as liberally, Marco's has great potential. Sub - Bread - Soft and warm, well suited as to not fall apart, yet not too doughy or crunchy. Actually impressive for a bread. A bit soggy in a couple areas, but attributed to the type of sub (Italian) and the dressing used. Italian dressing - Perhaps a bit nit picky, I found there was a bit too much dressing used. Typically I order "light" (as in amount used, not caloric) because I find many places ruin an Italian sub with dressing as it overpowers other flavors with it's bold presence. I like to see Italian dressing used in a complimentary fashion to other flavors. It should be noted that the amount used was not dripping with every bite, but a napkin would be recommended. Portions - Marco's shines when it comes down to the meat, cheese, and veg of the sub. The bread to filling ratio was impressive. Almost every bite was a mouthful of actual sub ingredients and not a loaf of bread. Temperature - Again, like the pizza, just not what I would consider hot. The meat was cooked, the cheese was melted, so I'm not overly concerned because I didn't get a chance to burn myself. That said, 15 - 20 more degrees wouldn't have hurt either. Overall impression - While Marco's has the meat to bread ratio sanctification nailed I still consider the sub to be relatively "small". At no thicker than 1 1/4 inches, it's the 1/8 of an inch bread that can still sell it and win me over. Value - At $20 for both a XL pizza and a 6 inch sub, prices are competitive for the area. The pizza is sufficient to feed 3 - 4 (@3 slices each), while the sub was sufficient for a single serving light hunger. Bottom line, nothing remarkable either way. Not a bargain, not expensive. In my opinion, Marco's has room for improvement....luckily for me, however, it's in areas that can be overlooked or glazed past so long as other criteria are met. 3 stars for being a standard "run of the mill" pizza shop, +1 star for the amazing cheese. The cheese has flavor and texture that excites me. The sub, while on the smaller size, was packed full of what really counts....flavor. Personally, I think Marco's is nuts for opening in Marysville. I've never lived in another city so pizza saturated as Marysville. I welcome them to town and hope they do well. That said, with local favorites like that place Ben owns, or corporate favorites (toes and shack), Marco's may have to step up production times and raise standards a bit to win over this pizza-centric city. Marco's may not be the next place I order pizza from, but with this initial impression, they have, without a doubt, earned a place in rotation.

My family are regulars we order at least twice a week. Today I felt like I have to say something. I ordered a 6inch sub with no tomatoes. Sounds easy but not really they put over 20 banana peppers on it. Ok I didn't complain about that, ordered 14 wings only got 6. Told driver he said he would fix. Thank you but management needs a little reminder. Everytime I've ordered this year they have gotten my order wrong. So this is my way of helping fix the problem. Please just fix this problem or get help. I love marcos and its my families go to food place. Have a good night ladies and gents.

I’ll start with a positive - the pizza is always consistent and the prices are reasonable. I’m typically not a person to leave reviews but after this evening I’ve had enough with Marco’s in Marysville. Over the last couple years we have ordered from here many times despite having several issues with some of our orders, specially around timing. There have been a minimum of 10-12 occasions where we have ordered, shown up to the store after the time specified on our confirmation, and our pizzas had not yet been put in the oven. A few of these occasions were after an hour wait/lead time. We would occasionally stop ordering from here because of the delays but then be mailed a code for a credit/free pizza because we hadn’t ordered in some time so we would order again because who doesn’t love free pizza. This evening, we placed an order which went through online at 9:03pm according to my confirmation. I show up to the store 15 minutes later (I’ll also add here that there was a person sitting at the lone table in the waiting area with no shoes or socks on. How is this allowed in a place that prepares food?! It’s bizarre but I can’t make it up) and was told that our pizza was not made as the order was received after their closing time. I was puzzled as; 1 - My order processed and my card was charged. 2 - Google maps (where I started my order) said the closing time was 10pm. 3 - THE CLOSING TIME PRINTED ON THE DOOR SAID 10pm. 4 - The neon ā€œopenā€ sign in the window was lit up. I was told that they attempted to call me but was given some excuse as to why the call couldn’t go through. I have no problem if you decide to close earlier, but you can’t just do it without first properly updating the most basic and necessary things needed to do so. It’s beyond clear that there is a serious dysfunction in the management of this place and this was the last straw for us. No amount of free coupons can get us to order...

Where is the 0 Stars Option? Absolutely the WORST customer service in 25 years! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT supporting this business. I called to place an order and was hung up on initially, called back some girl answered and when I said I need to place an order for delivery for about 6/7 pizzas she immediately became huffy. She asked me the address and I told her the hotel name and I had to look up the address as she DEMANDED an actual address (relax) which I under stand. So I told her the address and for some reason she kept say I can’t hear you, I can’t hear you, I can’t here you. Funny I heard her just fine. I tried to spell out the address because she stated ā€œSpell thatā€. She again got all mad, slammed the phone down and said ā€œ does anyone else want to talk to this guy on the phone he is being rude and not speaking load enoughā€. I was pretty calm and polite until I heard that. Another guy got on the phone and I asked for a manager. He said ā€œI’m as close as your going to getā€. Well. I’ll put it out there publicly what I said ā€œ this experience at your buisness is absolutely atrocious and I’ll NEVER conduct any business or place any further orders here EVER. THAT women need a lesson on customer service and listeningā€. To the owner~ Keep operating like that and Business don’t always far well. I understand it’s a tough time to get quality employees let along anyone to work these days. But as a businessman I wish you all the best with ignorance like that.

To answer the question below, Did you dine in, take out or...
