Pita Pit — Restaurant in Mason City

I have never experienced such disrespect from management in ANY business. I work for DoorDash and we get two separate orders from different restaurants stacked together. I had already picked up my first order, and Pita Pit was on my way so I accepted the second order. First thing I notice when I walk in, “management” are loudly whispering amongst themselves that I don’t have my hot bag. Correct, I’m not bringing other people’s food into another establishment. Second, I am not even greeted and the place is near empty. I informed them my hot bag is full, that being the reason I wasn’t bringing it in. The amount of attitude and disrespect I received from the female working was disgusting. She laughed at me and proceeds to roll her eyes at me. I was locked out loud where there were others in the store to stop eating and stare at her. I have never had anybody complain about their food being cold, messed up, or missing when delivering. Pretty dang deec. Didn't even have to coerce my GMA to bust out her credit card and buy me as much as I wanted. She is on new meds though, could be a contributing factor. She's bought a lot of wild stuff. She bought a boat trailer and doesn't even own a boat she just thought it would be good to have. It's okay GMA, the stack of cicada shells sitting on the kitchen table isn't doing much but making the floor crunchy as well as her homemade banana pudding. She should probably be put in a home but she refuses and isn't opposed to biting those who try to "betray" her and suggest her living elsewhere. Uncle Richard has several scars from GMA, one was bad enough he had to get stitches all because he wanted her to get rid of her trampoline, to stop dislocating her hip and knees. Elise was graciously tolerant of my boyfriend and my antics, she just giggled and stayed focused on taking our order... A difficult task with the two of us. She was very helpful answering all of my questions. The cook would smirk at the silliness of our behavior but stayed silent and focused on the food. They worked seemlessly together preparing our meal. This was my first visit to a PitaPit & I really enjoyed all the fresh veggies. My chicken gyro was delicious and my boyfriend's philly wrap was stuffed with veggies and he devoured then! We don't have anything like this in Georgia. It was very enjoyable experience.
