Culver’s — Restaurant in Mason City

I normally love Culver's and have been to several of them from here to Arizona. This one in Mason City takes the cake for the worst Culver's I have ever been to. The few times I went through the drive through, I was shocked by the rude and incompetent staff (with the exception of only 1 employee). Today I went inside for the first time and was absolutely appalled when one employee standing behind the front counter pulled her mask AWAY from her face and just sneezed without even attempting to cover it up! No one else even reacted to her but instead look askance at me for my horrified reaction! When I expressed astonishment at her not covering her mouth, I was told in a rude tone, "We're not in kindergarten." No one there seems to care at all about basic hygiene! Wish it were possible to leave a minus 5! I waited at the counter while two kids were going back and forth about who should wait on me. Ordered a concrete mixer. Again the kids bickered about who should make it. Waited over 10 minutes for my order. Finally I went to the counter and told them “if I had to wait this long for something no one was making that I wanted my money back!” The one kid walked over to a cooler took out my mixer, slammed down the lid and said “it’s right here!” With a very snotty attitude the kid dropped it down on the counter at me. Order was completely incorrect. Ordered a double bacon deluxe. Firstly didn’t even get the right sandwich. So that was a blunt disappointment. The burger I actually got was horrendous. The Patties were thinner then the pickles, vegetables were old and tastes horrid. (I ordered no vegetables too). The cheese curds were the only thing keeping this review up at all.

Much less the service I came into was screaming across the lobby; and sitting waiting for any form of service for a few minutes. Though who served me was great credit to her.
