Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 ten year old girls) stopped in while we were in Mason. So glad we did. It won't be our last visit. We got there right at 11am when they open and were warmly greeted by the owner who was working the front counter. We got to talking with her and she told us about the unique spices they grind themselves and the methods they use to cook their meat.
Our food was exactly how she had described it. 2 of us had the gyro lamb wrap, 1 had the Kofta beef platter and 1 had the Masala Beef Burger.
I tried all 3 things and they all were fantastic. The gyro wrap was a perfect blend of dönner lamb and fresh lettuce, tomato, onion and tzatziki sauce. The lamb was not greasy at all. Very flavorful and just the right spices. It was quite obvious that the tzatziki sauce was freshly made. The lemon and dill used was so amazing. The Kofta beef, which clearly had just been made to order, had a perfect chargrilled taste. The flavors of the spices mixed into the beef were insanely good. The Masala Burger took me by surprise. My daughter asked if I wanted to try it and I'm glad I did. I didn't think a burger at a Mediterranean place would have much effort put into it but I was wrong. This wasn't some frozen burger they put on the grill. It was handmade by them and seasoned throughout. It was an absolutely great pairing using masala in it. It's hard for me to pass up gyros, but I'd definitely go back there just for the Masala Burger alone.
The owner got to talking with our daughters and very kindly sent them both along with a treat to go. She seems like a very sweet and generous person.
The atmosphere was very nice and extremely clean. The owner takes great pride in her place and her food. She's very concerned with making sure everyone is happy and enjoyed their experience. It's so nice that she hit all the marks for what a customer wants: Great food, great location, great service, clean, warm atmosphere and an extremely generous and friendly owner.

Read morei was there few days ago and it was a horrible experience for a guy who eats out most of the time. did order a plate of shish kabab and hummus with falafel and salad plus order of fries with drink. When the order came out after paying almost $55.00 for the tiniest portion i ever seen restaurant serve in the whole state. first of all the taste was awful the meat came dry as heck and the hummas was saggy and tasteless . the fries seems like they counted sex pieces and called it side order somehow. the salad and am ashamed to even call it salad came just few leaves of lettuce and tomatoes only no dressing no cucumber or nothing and u can can actually count the salad by the piece. I felt i was ripped off for my money so i reached the Indian or Pakistani girl who took my order to address the issue and she came attacking me asking to listen to her opinion and what she thinks of the food which i can careless because am the one who eating it . she didn't offer to do anything about it or at least fix it ? she told was rude as hell . how ever it was the first and last time will ever visit this place i found them through google and the reviews what tricked me on that place because the seemed to have good reviews but after my visit i was really disappointed . and i think they pay some one to leave good reviews and that's what tricked me . final message to that lady and the restaurant yes you might serve halal food which means prepared by Islamic way but you earn haram money for sure for doing...

We decided to eat-in so placed our order at the counter. No wait staff which is no issue for us. Easy to order at the counter and quick to have our food ready. Clean dining area. The person taking our order was very nice. We each ordered the Gyro Lamb Sandwich with Fries. The pita was fresh but the amount of lamb meat was really really really lacking!
I would have taken a picture of the sandwich but my hubby said to just enjoy my Gyro. He didn't want me to complain because the person working the front counter was very cordial!
The menu has the option of additional meat added for an extra charge but for the price already paying...meat portion should be more than morsels!
I wish now I should have taken a picture. So the 3-stars was for the portion of meat in the sandwich. While eating, they brought out a large takeout order for someone. They may have been busy with that so quality check on ours was lacking.
What small portion of lamb I had was tasty. The Tzatziki sauce was tasty. The fries were tasty. Like to support small businesses but sorry to say won't be back :(
If ever in Holland MI, go to Mr. Kozak's II for Greek/Mediterranean food. A Gyro Sandwich road map for Greenwich. If not, hopefully it was just our order...
