I visited on 1-6-24 between 8:30pm and 8:45pm. I pulled into the drive-thru and placed an order for 2 pretzel baconators 2 large fries and one 4 piece spicy nugget. I had a offer in the app for buy 1 pretzel baconator and get 1 for $2. After I received the total of $21.65 I pulled up to the window to pay. I told the guy that I had an offer on the app which he scanned. The employee swiped my card without telling me the adjusted total and as soon as he was done he left the window. I looked at the receipt and guess what my new total was...$21.65! I sat at the window and got a female employees attention who called the original guy back to the window. I told him that the offer didn't come off and he said he would get the manager, which he did. He told me while we waited that sometimes the offer scans but doesn't come off. I told him that was ok as I was not mad at this point. The manager came over acted like he was going to do his job and adjust it but instead looked at it and told me it was already cashed out and "there was nothing he could do about it now". Now, I was mad and told him "ok I want a refund then".
Here is what should have happened and been said.
"I am sorry. Since the order was cashed out I am going to refund it and rering your order." I couldn't argue cause I didn't have the confirmation number in my pocession so I went home. I told him I don't where you ordered but it wasn't there because they said they never received it so I took the confirmation withe went back into Wendy's and told I had been there once already and there was no order but here I have the confirmation. the MOD looked in the system printed it out The person who told me there was no order there for us came over looked at the order shrugged his shoulders walked away..
